I remember playing Neptunia in japanese and being shocked by how two complete different vocal tones can change a character extremely- In this case, ENG Neptune sounds like a western lass with dad joke humor whilst JAP Neptune sounds like a perfect mix of cute and annoying. That said, coming back to Genshin: ENG/CHI/KOR Dori's just supposed to be a penny pinching money lover. That's her character and thus is what she sounds like. JAP Dori... sounds like what she *looks* like. The strained voice, tone deaf singing and... confidence? Her JAP voice fits her best... to a fault.
