This is a very helpful video and I'll watch it several times! However, I'd still rather like to have a piece of paper with a summary of what each of the buttons mean and do...I guess I'm a little old fashioned!
Hello, I have the kaleidoscope pro license et I want to apply the bandpass filter for my cluster analysis with “use existing .kcs to sort new recordings and create new cluster .csv”. I want to see if I improve my classifier when I choose specific frequencies of my species comparing results with an analysis without bandpass filter. When I apply this parameters, nothing change in my results. So I want to know if the software doesn’t consider this parameters or if it had consider but this have no effects to my results.
This is fascinating, thanks for sharing! I've often wondered if nocmig would work in Costa Rica with all the bug noise - great job! Definitely something I'll look into for next year's migration :)
Wow, this device is extremely over priced. Cost twice as much as the best trail camera. I love recording wildlife audio but at this price not sure it's worth it when you can just buy an Olympus 720 dm. After you buy this device and accessories, you can buy a new gaming computer or an expensive video camera for the same price....hmmm
Is there a way that I can include a color bar scale, if I am displaying my spectrogram as a graph for example and I want to viewer to know what the colors represent.
Is it possible here to include a setting where the SM4BAT records for a night, i.e. from sunset to sunrise? Ideally, I'd like to record for 4 nights in the week to conserve battery. But I can only find a way to record for x hours per night. But this is a bit annoying since the number of hours of the night is not constant (in my part of the world at least).
