More or less like any other sailboat by going head to wind. Of course the boat won't stay put, but will drift, depending on the wind speed. Heaving to is not possible because there's no foresail to be backed. You could use an anchor of course in shallow water, but only for short as the sail can't be put down whilst on the water.
