This Live CD/DVD combo was actually the first Linkin Park thing I bought after hearing for the first time back in like 2005? Back then, at 13, whenever my parents weren't home, I would pop in this DVD and CRANK IT as loud as I could and just go hard, headbanging and screaming along to them. This song specifically I would watch and scream along to over and over again until I would blow out my voice.
My favourite song🙌 so powerful and beautiful . Its much better and clearer sound in "The Messenger-live in Madrid " , its an outdoor concert in the streets of Madrid with thousandsof people, you have to listen to it ! He sings a few tunes lower there wich is even better , so clear
Hey there, New to the channel.. But Welcome to the LP family! It doesnt matter when you started liking them.. I think its says more that you appreciate us and how we are.. For us that followed them since hybrid theory and even before.. We always knew this band was something we can turn too when we are feeling down.. I cant tell you how many times, ive people comment that this band litterly saved their lfe.. and gave them an outlet... We cried for someone that doesnt know who we are.. and im ok with it... We saw his journey from the start until he sadly passed, but we will continue to honor his legacy forever! #makechesterproud
Huge AFI (you pronounce each of the letters).. and thanks. I appreciate your honesty fan. Not the video I was after, but gave me pause. Big props. Keep up the legitimacy. Nothing matters more.
I'm gonna assume that you're no longer active on social media Because I looked at all of Twitter Instagram and you're not posting anything I hope your ok brother
They were as well-known when they first started as they were because they started out on the internet even before Napster came out. They started their fan club before they even had their first record deal. That is why Mike asks is there any Linkin Park Street soldiers in a crowd at most of their concerts because those are some of their first fans.
They worked as well as they did because they knew they couldn't let egos get in the way if they wanted to succeed as a band. So they play to each other's strengths. Chester wasn't as good at rapping as Mike is and Mike isn't as good at singing as Chester was (optic range wise) so they each did their part. It is like when they did the collab with Jay Z there was no egos involved there either. No one knows how Chester was able to change from singing to screaming and back to singing with no problems with his voice. Chester was also his own personal sound effects machine during the live performances. I think that why each of their live performances are unique since Chester would make different sound effects for each concert. Linkin Park changed up there different songs for each setlist not only for the fans but for themselves too because they get bored singing the same songs over and over and over again. Chester actually have to stop singing the song Crawling for a while because it was putting a strain on his voice.
The part where the background is really dark was filmed in the sound booth of his home recording studio. If you go to the Linkin Park RU-vid channel you can find video of Chester doing some recording of some sounds / music in that sound booth. He didn't know if he would even continue to make music after Chester died but his need to make music has kept him going.
l too prefer taka's rendtion to adel's his range be mad crazy l has 20 of one ok rock's songs all sung in japanese l will say his english has improved alot his younger brother hiro sings in the band my first story and their parents both sing japanese country music so he comes from a musical family
Such an amazing show Mike: ALRIGHT PEOPLLLL- Chester: CYUMOOKOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAHWHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Mike: Alright people how we doing tonight!!
You have a new subscriber because of your stand with regards to Skillet. I was a fan BEFORE I learned they were a faith based band. Have you checked out "Monster"?
Mike's rapping is really killer in this song, but Chester's part in this performance is great too. Especially when you take into account that the delay he does isn't assisted in anyway. No after affects or special equipment. That echo is all him and the way he handles the microphone. This is one is wish I could've heard live and in person for sure.
