I shuck and clean the corn, put in a 8x8 or 9x13 flat pan, add enough water to just cover bottom of the pan, tightly cover with plastic wrap and microwave 3 minutes per ear! I don't want to be doing all this shucking at dinnertime!
In my opinion, you're not cooking them QUITE long enough, which is why you struggled a bit squeezing it out. Other than that, yeah, perfection! It's truly so easy.

I’m one who hates to waste defrosting a pack of bacon for just this reason Thank you for a great tip I was thinking u could roll them up and put them on a pan freeze them and throw them in a bag and they don’t stick together 👍🏻
Completely submerged in water a few hours or overnight. Grill in husk to taste. Carmelizes the sugars in the kernels. I absolutely love it! If you have campfires you can cook that way also. From a short time to steam to longer with dark colouring this is divine! I find micro cooking cools quickly after and isn't my favourite.
Hi, this was interesting, I appreciated the tip on how to cook corn in the microwave. One question, because you weren’t explicit, I am totally blind and which end of the corn did you cut? Was it the stem side so then you could push it out That way or was it where the silt comes out on the short side? Did you cut to push the corn out? Thank you for your presentation. 2:44
The trick way to do it is cook it right in the husk! You can do that either in the microwave or right on the barbecue! 3 minutes per side in the microwave, cook till done on the barbecue. It's usually when the outside of the house starts to turn brown it's done. Keep it off. Extremely high heat.
@@235buz I'm telling you cook it on the grill. Roll it around until it's kind of brown on the husk and you can check it by taking it off and just pulling it back a little bit. I cook corn in the microwave in the husk for 3 minutes aside. It comes out completely done. I cut the silk off the end so I don't have to contend with it but that's all I do and it comes out great!
Kat I have tryed making a banana nut bread cake and put in some dates and coconut in it and it turned out good . I enjoy watching your cooking videos . Moe Joe
