Gavin does a pretty good job showing the jigging cadence with the underwater footage in this video. It's almost more of a shake rather than a jig up and down. Try to have the bait a little above the fish and have them raise up to grab it. -Mike
Dollar for dollar scheels makes the best rod for the price. They aren’t the worlds best but they are better than a lot of fenwick’s, st. Croix and about half the price. People should give them a chance it surprises a lot of people
I just wear under armour loadouts I’m in the army those are my work boots and I wear them in similar environments so I don’t see a need to but a expensive boot just for hunting when I can wear the same boots I wear for work 🤷🏾♂️
Tom Huynh spoke at our event up in brainerd and made a great point about fisheries impact. Us as anglers are the ones who make a difference in responsible harvest, the Livescope is just a tool. It’s up to us as a fishing community to maintain and sustain our fisheries
I wasn’t a big turkey guy growing up, but I hunted my first bird when I was 28 and I’ve been hooked since. Now that my boys are able to hunt them we obsess all year round about them. I will go so far as to say if I had to choose between traveling the states hunting deer for two months in the fall or traveling and hunting turkeys in the spring, I think I’d choose turkeys.
Thank you! Doing my first turkey hunt in 2 weeks in NC. Been practicing my calls but basically have no idea what I'm doing. Like cramming for a test. Lol!
I retired my #%$^! KitchenAid stuffer and got your 5-lb crank stuffer, it was a game-changer for me. The electric 20-lb machine would be nice but I don't have the space, and only process a 5-lb butt from the market (no game/high volume) and the crank machine is perfect for me.
Legend. I purchased my first Buck 112 in 1978 at a USMC PX on Camp Pendleton. It resides in a footlocker. I have a newer variant that is much easier to sharpen. Thank you for producing such excellent knives. Also own ........ a few other Buck Knives. I really like my 105 Pathfinder for hunting.
I saved and saved and got the Legend XT 1-man flipover. Huge disappointment. Sides are sloppy and blow in on you when you're fishing. No loops to secure a line going to an ice anchor to counteract this. Jason's from the windy country....figured something with his name on it would be built around that. Also could use some engineering done on the folding up of the top so that it's sure to not drag on the ice when you're moving around. Takes a long time to fold and move to be sure you're not screwing up your expensive shelter. That being said...the chair is great, the light-colored inside is great, the weight is great, the footprint is great (fits in my vehicle).
Rich man's crossbow but i have a wealthy buddy that has a ravin and it doesn't hold a string too long you've got to keep a eye on it after every shot. But you can't beat the accuracy of the ravin.
