That may be the sloppiest soldering job I have ever seen. That's not how you do it. And are you actually not at least going to wire nut the connections? Better yet, solder them in line and shrink sleeve them. I can't believe you are actually leaving them uncovered. You should not be making videos like this.
I made one like this long ago, and it works better than most anything and was free to build for me. I need to find it in my storage unit and refurbish it. Needs no EQ.
Hi, My name is Eugene I'm the founder of Stompai. Stompai allows you to use your phone as a double kick percussion instrument. Our app detects a movement of your foot and will play two different sounds, fully customizable for toes or heel movement. We have a variety of sounds for you to choose from. All you need is our app and a foot mount. Pick your sounds, place your phone on the mount and get it adjusted on your foot and you are ready to rock! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-leuWzjxxOtI.html What you do guys think?)
YOU'VE GOT JUST THE SOUND WE WANT - - YOU GOT GREAT VOLUME TOO - what is best for under the box on floor -does the sound differ on diff surfeaces -WELL DONE
Since you are operating the speaker as a mic, you should connect positive to negative. Recording into any program that displays the resulting waveform, will confirm that this gives a peak rather than a trough. A transformer is not a bad idea either.
i was going to say the same thing. use a small output transformer in reverse to change 8 ohms to 1500 ohms. of course you should use a 8 ohm speaker instead of a 4 ohm if you want to be technical about it.
Michael Stoneham I believe he means sealing the areas that rattle. You can use many things to put between the lid and box to help this. You can put a small latch to keep it closed and help with vibrations. I seen foam put inside also to absorb sound, and create different sounds. Be creative or look at some more vids, Good luck :)
I think what You were looking to do was hook up piezo elements inside a box and run a cable out to an amp. So that they would pick up and amplifly Your stomping. Did You get an amplified sound when You plugged that in? and what did You plug it in to?
