Thanks for the bravery to put yourself out by saying this. Yes people could also check out John Kempf and what he sayed about it - he worked succesfully together with hundreds if not 1000 farmers or more & he interviews them on different topics. He has also a book I think "Qualitiy Agriculure" where he interviews experts like scientists and people can purchase this book for only 9$ or so as an e-book on Amazon. CO2 is one of the most important ingredient for plants. Therefore we need much carbon in the soil because the plants uptake this what decomposes in the soil under them. The more CO2 - the better the plant functions - like 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 times higher photosynthesis I think. Because most plants in poor soil are only working for exsmple with 20% or msybe rsther 40% photosynthetic capscity = lesser root exudstes etc. . The most capacity/efficence is reached when plants are starting to release not only amino acids like sugars but are starting to release fats (lipids) on their leaves..Which by the way drastically reduces pest pressure. I think John Kempf also sayed that in glashouses the plants are growing more because there is more CO2 available cause it can't escape so quickly. Matt maybe if you find time you can make a video about CO2 and how it helps plants etc. . So people can use this info & can understand you better - because the more informations the more they can *correctly* understand you. I would also love to get to know more about it.

Another reason for global ecological agroforestry, food forests and planting billions of trees. 🌊🌍🌄🌅👍🌎🌹

Kelp forests over trees in priority though as they release 10x the amount of oxygen and at times are the only source of fresh oxygen for inland folks when winter has all photosynthesis shut down. This is part of why folks have been getting sicker since the west coast kelp forest died - we are not getting the same quality air and oxygen levels that we used to.

In public school we learn to place Science and academics above our own experiences. We need to treat science as a tool, not an end or an answer. We are in trouble today because farmers have delegated science and education to scientists and educators, many of whom have never farmed a day in their lives. We need a new type of farmer who practices the science and teaches what they've learned. The same has happened with society. We've delegated governance to politicians who do not represent ourselves. We all deserve to reap what we sow.

If you are not walking around your property daily and noticing changes and asking why those changes are occurring and then finding the answers to your questions, you will not learn anything and you will fail. It's as simple as that.

If only more CO2 could be released we would be in a non humid Garden of Eden.

That's why we need to bring back the photosynthetic capacity so that we can properly and efficiently cycle it and store it in the largest pool on earth: soil.

It’s not against the law… there’s just no way of getting an occupancy permit for a dwelling, in the vast majority of the USA. As long as you have your toilet on one of a few permittable mxpensive methods, you can use a composing toilet all you want and that’s not illegal. And you won’t get arrested if you have a cabin and only stay in it within a certain limited time, otherwise they will ask you to leave.., if you don’t leave if they ever order you to do so, then that’s when they could arrest you. But, there are a lot of people who live off the municipal and septic systems. And have been doing it for years… but, at any time, they can be forced out. So it’s a bit of a misnomer to call toilet composting illegal. But, it’s their twisted way of doing things that ultimately make it illegal, in the end. So you aren’t wrong either.

I just learned this the hard way! My plants were looking pretty good but I wanted to give them a boost. My habenero was yellowish and not doing as well. I regrettably added liquid nitrogen to a bunch of plants and it killed 2 tomato plants, 3 pepper plants, a sugar snap pea, and some broccoli and brussel sprouts. Never again! I literally got teary eyed. I thought I was just giving them a little extra boost...boosted em right to death! I'm sooo sad about it. But I guess these mistakes help us learn and grow in gardening!
