Hi I'm Duckboy, what you will see on my channel is variety of things from elevators, escalators and etc, and I'm also a furry, I've been one since 2020 WHOMP WHOMP :/
I worked in a mall in the early 2000's. The wing my store was in was being reconfigured, and the escalator out front was being removed. I asked if I could have one of the stair steps just cause it would be interesting.....hard no from the foreman.
For one I doubt trader joes manufactured the xlerator, and two, pretty much all xlerators are loud AF. I highly doubt you even know what you are talking about.
Nice find, gold O&Ks are very rare. I've found a set of 8 similar to these in Germany, they even have gold handrail arcs. Check out the video if you like. There's also some gold O&K RTV escalators coming soon.
I’m soooo bummed. Have the exact same fan (buttons, stickers are all identical) except my front grill was also black. Have had it for at least 15 yrs. It stopped oscillating 6 months ago even though I sprayed WD40 on it. I’ve cleaned it multiples times before without removing anything or taking it apart and have always been careful not to get the motor wet while cleaning as best I could. I just attempted to clean it again and this time, it stopped working and when it finally did work after shaking it a bit, the motor started to spark . I obviously didn’t do a good job at not getting the motor wet and am too scared to use it for fear of causing a fire. Now I have a spic and span clean fan…that no longer works 😢
Actually 3rd Gen of that label, as 1st gen was around 1992-94, 2nd gen around 1999-2000. Those labels came out around 2006-07 before going to the current labeling in 2014.
@@DuckboyTheDuck Here's an example of a 2nd gen label: ru-vid.comwE91fSp1gr0 It's similar to the 3rd gen label except for a slightly different font. 3rd gen labels such as what you have in your video use a bold font compared to the 2nd gen.
Are you sure that the newer Models have the Fan Blades that're unremovable? 'Cause I have 2 of that same exact Fan, all Black Color on my 2, & I'm not sure if mine are considered the newer Models to where I can't remove the Blades at all. Moments ago (A few hours ago...), I just tried to take one of mine apart 'cause both of them are running pretty weak, especially when they're on oscillate, & I'm trying to see to my curiosity if with the White Lithium Grease that I have, if I can access the inside of the Oscillate Gears, that're controlled with the Pull/Push Handle & the back of the Fan Blades Shaft, & clean & grease the Gears to see if that can loosen them up to have both of mine run properly. As I got to the Blades part on the one that I was taking apart, it was hard to remove & I was afraid that I would accidentally break it or something. So, for now, what I did was put it back together, put it away in my Bedroom Closet, & searched it up to see if there was a Video on how to do something like this & that's where I found your 2-Part Video here to see how you did it on yours for the cleaning, as I want to do the same/similar on my 2, & my 2 are like mostly clean, little to no Dust at all, just needs to have the Oscillate Gears from the inside to be greased to have them run properly, especially while they're on oscillate. Welp, I would like to ask if you have Discord at all? 'Cause I would like to befriend you on there & VC with you, with turning on my Camera to show you my 2 of the same exact Fan, to see if you can help me out for me to try & get my 2 greased & get them to run properly. And even might I want to do a Live Stream on RU-vid to show me doing it with you virtually helping me out on Discord, as you could like be a special Guest on my Live Stream & whatnot while I'm trying to get my 2 of that same exact Fan all fixed up & whatnot.
