@@75bluey It’s definitely not sporting mate! Unfortunately the snapper don’t come in close enough to cast at them so drone is the only way to get a bait out to them. Bit of fun now and then. Thanks for liking the vids btw!
Hey mate - it’s really just a lob cast out on top of a good size wave at the right time so when the water runs out it takes the balloon with it. It’s one of the disadvantages of a short rod but the pay off is fighting the fish
@@AlejandroCello mate I’m only running about 4 feet between the hook and balloon. So not really enough line to tangle and most livies will swim straight once they settle after casting. Longtails are usually always in the top couple of metres of water so there’s no need to fish baits too deep.
That’s absolutely gold, I haven’t laughed this hard at a fishing video for ages 😂 that rod holder was just the cherry on top 🤣 I’d love to see Brad fish around the FADs up here or at Palm Beach reef when the mackerel are running… nicknamed ‘the carpark’, and some people throw all etiquette out the window 😂
Thanks Will! You’ve got to come out for a snapper sesh with us some day mate. Brad will have you in stitches. He wants to implode of another comes within 5 kilometres of us so he’d probably kill someone if we fished the Goldie. Might be safer if you come to us lol!
Hadn't watched the whole video when I made my last comment. Fk that was funny when Brad's rod got stuck. Fkn gold boys. Proper Aussie larrikins having a fish and a laugh. Bloody love it
I almost had a meltdown out off Nambucca last week snapper biting their heads off whilst the moon setting and shit house shimano vanford stuffed up on me. Close to throwing the thing out at this point lol. Great video but nothing better in nsw than bottom bashing mid north coast,
@@kamadowoah4584 Murphy’s Law that your reel will shit itself in the middle of a hot bite mate. Always the way. Love a good bottom plonk but we struggled even on bait that day!
The unit is too short so does not get enough speed up to catch snoek or most importantly to get out through the back line if it's big surf or coming back in.
Cheers mate - both yaks are Stealths from SA and probably the best yaks on the market for surf entries and definitely amongst the quickest paddle fishing yaks. Check them out.
Good on Bonito boats . They are doing some great work. Good see a bunch of CC glass boat options in the Aussie market. I really think you need to learn to speak properly if your gunna try and run a you tube channel. It’s painful to listen to for half the conversation.
Thanks for watching mate. The Bonito lads have really turned the brand around and bringing some epic new hulls to the market. I’m working on the mumble. The missus said she’ll divorce me if I don’t fix it which isn’t much incentive….
@@GHOSTspearfishing I think there’s designated areas down around Sydney where they have to be worn mate. No doubt it will be a state wide rule some day.
