I don't get why everybody loves Jess. He treated her like dirt when they were dating. I agree that he understood her the most. They were into lots of the same things. But he treated her like dirt. He still would if the writers but them back together. But I believe they're better as friends. He doesn't treat her like dirt when he is her friend.
TEAM JESS because he understood her that was true love screw Logan he was is and always will be a a-hole okay dean don’t even he’s know a dirtbag puppy love bug Jess loved her encouraged her and helped her loved her he wanted to be better he wanted to fight for her and he loved her Logan would just say “then leave.” Dean I can’t- but Jess is the one I mean they were IN love.
I found Jess a more compelling character than Rory the mc herself. Jess is a complex character and has been told over and over again that he won't ever account to anything of importance and that he's going to fail in life and yet he's the smartest person in any scene. Some people don't show their intelligence openly. Himself and Rory were complete opposites and I didn't like how she treated him (not that Jess didn't have faults as well)
Their timing was never right. I think if they had a second chance and they were older like in the revival and Logan wasn't in the picture then it could work. I will always have a place in my heart for these two.
I hate when people hate on Jess 😭 Yes he had his bad moments but I genuinely think he is the one who understood Rory the most, Dean was dreamy sure but he was a bit eh and don't get me started on Logan. After watching the revival and reflecting on Rory towards the end of Gilmore Girls I no longer want them to be together though, her character changed too much to be with Jess.
Everything about their relationship makes me so happy and SO sad at the same time, I mean when they were together they were so perfect and when they weren't IT just sucked. I mean Jess always came at the wrong time with his you know displays of "I love yous" and "let's run away together" type stuff. I'M SO UPSET they didn't get more screen time in the revival
