Said goodbye to my first bike two years ago and I just saw the guy who bought it off me riding through town. We ended up pulling into the same gas station and I knew that bike like the back of my hand so I knew instantly who it was lol. Glad to see he’s still enjoying it and has been treating it well. Hey im thinking of buying one of these some day, but I was wondering what the buying process was like because I heard some people paying in upward of 20k for it?
I was able to find a 2022 used that only had 100 miles on it so I paid about 13k. If you bought one new I could see it being upwards of that. This one was listed at about 12 if that helps you out any. There are definitely some out there with really low mileage for not a bad price if you're willing to look around and travel a decent distance or wait for a good deal near you. Hope this helps!
You still riding the Nightster? Bought one a couple days ago and I was riding yesterday and it stalled out in 5th gear- check engine and oil light came and stayed on and the engine wouldn’t turn over. Had to get it towed but can’t figure out what happened? Only has 120 miles

I see you have a passenger pillion on the regular nightster. Did you have this done at the dealership? Did they put on foot pegs for the passenger as well? How much?

@@billwilliamson9842 Ide say the Toce exhaust for the 1250 “which is still a prototype” and the two brothers are the closest to making it sound “good” but it’s not perfect. I really don’t get it. It fires like a 90° twin. And those typically sound pretty good! Don’t know how harley screwed that up
@@toofastnobrakes Is it a 2 into 1 style? There was one on the sportster s that was slightly less terrible but yea, there doesn't seem to be any hope for them to sound "good". shame, rest of the bike is pretty kick a$$. Harley had to know they were gonna get kick back on replacin the beloved sporty with these new ones that sound like stock side by sides. Makes me appreciate my XR1200 even more.
@@billwilliamson9842 I will say I’ve ridden it “the S I mean” And it is a fucking blast! It finally puts the sport back in Sportster. It’s almost enough for me to get over how it sounds. Again, I don’t know how you fuck up the sound on a 90° firing twin. But performance wise it lives up to the heritage of the original sporty.
He has the s and s grand national slip on muffler. Sounds like it to me at least. The stock exhaust doesn't have any emblem on it and has like a 30 degree angle down. His was flush with an end cap.
