Unconventional Builds - Extreme Backyard DIY Projects - Janky How To Maker Crafts
Are you tired of your potato cannon only shooting one potato at a time? Do you wish your axe set fire to the wood while you chopped it? Do you want your backyard heater to blaze with the heat of a thousand suns?
These are some of the common everyday problems we're solving on this channel. If you have a challenge or problem that needs to be solved, send it my way, I'd love to hear it.
Remember sharp things cut, and hot things burn so don't try this at home.
Mentioned Air Unit: ~180 USD at time of posting Zip Ties: Packs of 100 for <5 USD, so MAYBE 10-15 cents worth were used. This was not a bad idea, and a rather economical idea at that! While I expected the ending to be "dji won't transmit video unless the blades are spinning :(" and a part 2 video down the line, I love how well this worked and the simplicity of the approach. Now I will wait for the video about the VTOL RC Car :)
where did you get that? was it one of those two channel B-17S and you transferred it to four channel? if it is, I NEED to find out how you made it four channel! I need one of these in my collection!
A 3-5 lbs weight (like from a lifting set) would have been an incredible head/face/butt. That said, this was a great build and I really enjoyed the design and concept as well as the challenge format!
Think I would have looked for a railroad spine over the bolt and I would have gotten a cross instead of a T so I could try to add that whicked looking top spike.
Mission accomplished, gents. Did you guys have any trouble keeping the end threads intact so that you could put the retaining nut back on after sharpening the bolt?
oddly enough I thought the sample video guy flung it harder but then again it was a shorter stick. Also noticed that example guy flung it towards an active street where cars were passing. I'm surprised he didn't hit a car, at least you guys had a way larger field.
6:15~ The Buntline Hitch from one of the Modern Rogue episodes would work for this situation. 15:41~ 16:41~ If you're too fast with the swing, the inertia of the load wins, opening the sling too early.
This is one of those mods that you wonder why no one has ever done it... until you see what it takes to do it, then you go "Ohh, yeah. That's why." But it's still pretty dang cool when it works.
I knew you had a problem with your wires when i clicked on the thumbnail. I love you guys, but that's par for the course. This is a fun project for sure! Now add face tracking and you're off to the race.
