@themagiccouch9252 yeah it is preventive maintenance and has good effect on car. Maybe in that c4 2015 model the dpf is beneath the car. as my c4 is 2014 model. but u can check that easily.
@teonisa1072 two solutions 1- use addititaive as shown in video. 2- see my second video find the diesel particle filter. once you find the dpf, then see the pressure sensor in dpf and put dpf cleaner there.
Thanks for info. I'm just confirming what I suspected, that on my AdBlue model, the DPF is under the car. Was watching another RU-vidr claiming to be cleaning his DPF, when in fact, he had taken off his denox catalytic converter lol
@ronaldfawaz1925 Hi i think you didn't watch/listen carefully. see at 01:10.. i said, "Connect to the green(marked) hose". as early i mentioned there are two hoses green and grey. you can " switch on" automatic subtitles to read that i mentioned green marked hose😉😉
no, it goes away just 10 minutes( 3000 rpm) of drive, and I was shocked (to see that the dpf additive system is so good). When I made this video , I already driven 2000 km, and error doesn't appear at all. it is impressive that 1 bottle dpf clean (250 ml) can clean that much..
Hey kash. Did u use both type of dpf chemicals? So one u put in fuel tank.. and the other u put thru the sensor? I have a kangoo 1.5 im certain it has a dpf.. the thing that sucks abt these cars is it doesnt have the auto soot burn off by doing a long cruise at above 80km like highway. I just cleaned a nearly blocked egr valve. I can only imagine what the dpf is like though no warning light i would like to do some preventative maintenance. My egr buildup was heavy at 212xxxkm. I checked it at 100xxxkm and had zero build up.
Hey, I think it is a good idea to clean your dpf by these chemicals as they are cheaper. Dpf gets really dirty and covered with soot if 1- Vehicle is driven in the city and has no rpm greater than 3000 rev/min 2- in cold weather so it is good to clean them this using bkth types of chemicals. And in my renault megane 3 they worked very well. In fact, i driven 40,000 km after the error appeared , and I only use these chemicals.
@kasha9961 yeh i agree. Im going to shop for both types of dpf cleaner etc and give it a go. Might be good idea to continue with the treatment few times thru out the year too. Good to know 👍
They don't clean when cruising at high speeds?? I have a 1.5dci clio and the warning light just lit... i thought about cruising for 30 mins at 80/90kmh in 4th gear but i guess i'll Just have to spend 200€...
Yes, the car will lose power as there is a problem with the exhaust of the engine. The engine has 4 stokes i.e. intake, comoression, blast and exhaust... when the last stroke is not completed, the engine will not give power and is not ready for the next stroke. I also observed that in renault megane, 3 many other errors appears due to this fault like gear error, etc
@@kasha9961hi brother, I just put liquid now but still the error message shows, do you know if this error will be gone any sooner or shall i put another liquid?
there petrol service liquids too. In petrol catalyst are used to convert NOx gases into compounds while in Diesel cars diesel particle filter are used. So quick solution is to use petrol cleaning, petrol service liquids to open any blockage of exhaust.
hi, yes, the dimensions for the copper ring in drain plug ( engine oil) are 16.0×22.0×2. u can also search on google the part number by using this part number: 968.330.100.. there is also oil drain plug seal ring... its part number is : 542.470.100. the M16×1.5L =12 mm is the bolt at engine oil change block. the part number is : 518.471.001 the above are for Renault Megane 3, 1.5 dci 110 hp FAP.
may u need to clean by directly putting into a temperature sensor place. remember there r two types of cleaning liquids. i explained this another video. I didn't paid or anything but just thought it would help someone as I struggled on this for 2 weeks. secondly check if there is electronics like sensor, check fuses, wire is broken etc
In my scenic i have today this error check anti pollution system, check esp and one more error i parked car find last night and it comes up in the morning do u know solution ?
Hi u can try to try drive car for 20 minutes between 3000-3500 rpm. u can do this by driving on motorways/highways with 3rd/4th gear. .. also see the above video to clean dpf. Normally when dpd error comes then other error also comes.
Hi Kasha, I actually tried to open the temperature sensor beneath the car but its too hard to open and spray the dpf cleaner. Did you remove the nut easily?
@avinashgundagani3225 Hi yes it is bit hard to open as it get lot of dirt and rust. but use cleaning liquids/ rust eating spray and small small impacts. it will open eventually.
Hi kasha, that’s great video. How can we maintain 3k to 4k rpm for 20min?. I have filled the dpf cleaner in the diesel tank and it’s been 4 days now and still no result, same issue. Note - I could just maintained 3k to 4k rpm for just 5 min as its a busy road.
Hi there is other option also to clean the dpf by removing the temperature sensor and inserting another cleaner into that that cleans the particle filter cleaner. As u mentioned so I will make video of that and it think it is more helpful. ___ you can maintain the 3k rpm if u drive on motorways/highways or low gear. actually at high rpm the temperature increases and black carbon inside dpf burn and emit as gases.
@@kasha9961 thanks for your reply, can you let me know where is the temperature sensor is located and by doing this how it can clean the dpf filter? Just wanted to confirm again so you mean remove the temperature sensor and add dpf cleaner in the diesel tank and drive for 20min right?
@avinashgundagani3225 Hi uploaded the new video. you can see where is temperature sensor of Diesel particle filter ( dpf) in renault megane. it is good method to clean the dpf. as there are two types of dpf cleaner. be careful which one to use where. i explain everything in that video.
Bro this 55 kw version? Official renault say 134 kmh top speed... My car starts to swim around lane like crazy if speed more than 120 kmh, not meant and built to drive such speed, engine quick dead
So far no one has given a relevant answer, so I searched on my own and found that there are fuel additives for gasoline as well. So I put BG K44 Platinum (by the way, it's good for both gasoline and diesel), and drove about half an hour in total, and the warning was deleted. Blessed be the Lord
@@s.k7850 Hi yes, for petrol cars it is called " Catalytic converter cleaner " that turns the exhaust gases into stable compound same as Diesel particle filter do. __ yes use these fuel additives for petrol/diesel cars especially in old cars and also for cold weather.
What engine bro? I have a clio 3 1.5 dci 106km without dpf and 170kmh I like this car very much. I tested and it will go 200/210 and it does not even ask, but the temperature on warm days along with a small capacity and a small intercooler kills this car and its performance.
I had the same problem. I have Renault Trafic. When accelerating car started to twitched and shook. Fault code check anti pollution system. I was skeptical this would work, but decided to try. It really worked. Now is smooth to drive. Thank you.
