the fact that this only has 1.7k likes is insane. Colter really knows how to squeeze a little more out of classic songs and he kills it with this song and his arrangement of it. His covers of John Prines songs are the same -i love John Prine, but in my opinion Colter elevated the songs with his magical guitar playing and obviously that voice. Colter is so damn good.
Thank you so much for this and Colter thank you for playing the tunes even though you think we will get bored! I love seeing them like they were written with the curtain pulled back on the arrangements. Your Carter scratch type style is so distinct and getting to see you play these again, so nice! Cheers y'all thank you Mr. Walker
I used to sing this song to my ex when I was dating her her name was Caroline. I learned how to play it on the guitar and on our year anniversary I sang it to her on a hill on my dads cattle farm. It was 5:40 the sunset was so pretty I couldn't stop looking at her eyes. I miss her so much.
Saw these two live recently they encored with this but added drums and electric guitar and it turned into a heavy rock ballad. Absolutely insane, I hope they record it at some point so I can experience it again.
