If we're really honest, a lot of early 60s pop was utter crap. 3-4 chords, simpleton lyrics, same old same old melodies. Thank god for the Beatles and Stones, and of course Bob Dylan to give some real substance to songwriting. Here we see a bunch of 40+ year-olds singing about being a teenager in love. Embarrassing.
Beautiful song. Seems lonely out here. But it's still a beautiful song sung by a talented woman, no matter how many critics panned her second album. It will stand the test of time just like Guyville
I heard the whole interview before, but can’t remember where or with who. I’m trying to reference something she said around this “token sucking” part of the interview. Help me out?
Lou Reeds favorite music. Only time I've seen him have his guard down and truly enjoying the moment. Must have been a thrill for him. There is also a clip of the '88 Grammy award trbute to Doo Wop with him in it. Truly epic. My dad's favorite music on thus fsthers day.
I’m odd in the fact that Nebraska is the only Bruce album that I truly love. I don’t care much for his other stuff. Ghost of Tom Joad is good too, but Nebraska is my “soul” album. So deep, dark and emotional.
I've always loved Curb A LOT, but I'm a Trump guy and man Larry is so far left it's scary, MSNBC, Stacey Abrams, etc etc... Not a fan of Larry's politics! But I love Curb, there u go.
Dear friend -- please, you must realize by now what a criminal con artist Trump is. Please open your eyes and see what is happening. Said with kindness.
And imagine unironically supporting that Georgia law. It says more about how far right you are then Larry is left leaning. Giving someone water in a line?
