Hiiii I love your content ❤️❤️ So...Here in Brazil we consume a lot of garlic, there is a very common seasoning that we use to preserve it and make it more practical in our daily lives. Basically, you crush the garlic cloves in a mortar and mix them with salt (in fact, it hurts your arm a lot), you can make changes to the recipe, such as adding herbs and other condiments, it depends on your personal taste, this seasoning goes with everything, from the preparation of meat, rice, beans, etc; it must be reserved in a glass container in the refrigerator, the shelf life is up to three months
Just because it says ORGANIC, you can never trust the supplier. If you read most of the organic products, even the frozen ones, you’ll notice that it will say product of China or product of turkey or product of chili. And some of the organic brands also add citric acid, which is one of the 50 secret names for MSG. A preservative. A neuron toxic. Toxic to the nervous system. Don’t be fooled by the labeling of ORGANIC.
I find it pretty cheap and easy just to buy a pretty big jar of minced garlic for $3 and it lasts me a pretty long time. I live in aus and get it from woolies. Just make sure it’s not diluted with something.
So glad we can't get garlic like that in the uk. Having it already peeled and in a bag is already a big no no. It loses its taste as soon as the peel comes off. I would rather just buy a bulb and just do one clove or two as I go along.
Or just buy less garlic and buy accordingly as needed? Besides, it will lose its freshness and zest that way. Why cook with a bland tasting garlic 🧄 when it’s supposed to be flavor enhancing.
