We buy any car....I had a quote for my car if £5500 they when I get there because of a small scratch and a worn wiper and the price went to £2700... Sold the car for £5300 via a garage.
Cba with webuyanycar. Took £150 for a small wheel scrape… it costs less than that to refurbish the wheel 😂. Plus I booked an appointment one hour before closing time and the place was shut with no phone number to ring. Time waster in my experience too
Went to we buy any van for my son with a tired worn out Vauxhall Vivaro they offered £750 online, at the point of sale it came down to £150. Drove away, put it on eBay and sold with no reserve for £750. Same as WBAC, WBAV, all crooks
WeBuyAnyCar offered me £145 for a 12 year old Honda Civic, after barraging me with several e-mails per day, after a week they knocked another fiver off their paltry offer, £140 for a roadworthy, functional car? They offered less than scrap weigh in price
I took my 2007 Citroen C5 hdi estate to them. I declared partial history, big recent bills ( clutch, discs & pads etc), 4 months MOT .. WBAC £735, so I took it there £217 😅.. i left with the car
We buy any car offered me online £7,300 for a 67 plate Citroen That I needed to get rid of, when taken down to them they offered only £5,100 and didn’t even get out of the cabin to look at it, now it wasn’t in perfect condition but it would certainly be classed as in excellent condition, 79k FSH main dealer, two owners high spec car.put it on market place and a dealer reached out and we did a deal at £7,400 and he retailed it fit £9,500, we buy are a joke!
A couple of years ago.... Suzuki Splash 2009. Had it for years. Full MOT with a couple of advisories. Low mileage. Offered £500 provisionally by WBAC. 120 mile round trip to 'check it out'. Sold it eBay for £1000.
Buy a BMW 335i Nearly as quick as an M3 at a cheaper price. Just be aware that the water pump is its weak spot and can cost a grand to replace on the N54 model. Also the oil filter housing can leak, but that's a cheap gasket set and a bit of labour. (Plus easy to get to) Apart from that, goes like stink, 35 -40 m.p.g on a run, plus a lovely roar when you boot it!
This was a trade sale and the issue only presented itself after these guys test driving it, again we do apologise for the inconvenience but we do not test TRADE cars but allow traders to inspect with no obligation to buy, SLM have been in business over 60 years and our RETAIL side of the business are prepared to a very high standard with excellent reviews please do not see SLM negatively after this inaccurate video
Accepted but the car must have been moved into that position so one would find it hard to believe that that engine noise was not apparent at that time and further more, if noticed, would you have stated that fact.
It was not our intention to bad mouth SLM in any way. These things happen, especially with trade vehicles. SLM were brilliant throughout & totally understanding, so absolutely no negativity from our end🤝
Feel sorry for you Liam but heart ruling the brain can have painful repercussions. Kris was right and you half expected problems. So much for SLM dealership and Dealer Auctions (Manheim) now of course part of Autotrader, have no responsibility to the seller or buyer for the vehicle in question!! Like all contracts their's is a legal nightmare. I assume the 72 hour clause still applies and the seller (SLM) ommitted to declare a potential engine problem in their condition report, photographs in this case are irrelevant. So hopefully you are not out of pocket. You have had some good results from dealer auctions in the past so you must expect the odd bad result and of course stay clear of SLM!!
Always wanted to start and finally bought a 57 plate clio 1.2 risked my wages but August seems dead quiet im hopeful it will go,Nice M5 that shame was no good.
