Hello from Maine. I used to live on Winchester Ave which is right near Brand park and library. I'd walk the trails behind the library to see downtown L.A. and also as far as my eyes could see, No rattlesnakes seen like I used to see in the foothills when I li8ved in Eagle Rock next door. I like your style. Suggestions? I'll leave those up to you because you do such a remarkable job. I like the artistical "point of view" framing the library with the rose garden and tile work, too. Many wouldn't have even thought to do that, but you did. You didn't bark a word at us either, you let the sweet sounds of children and other natural sounds do your speaking for you. Yes, you earned my (1) subscription and (2) bell ringing, and (3) thumbs up in return for your creative efforts. They're all I have to honestly give, but those items are valuable to me, so I hope you like the three little treasures I'll now leave you with. Hope all's going well and good for you. Live well, laugh often!

It is waaaaaaaaay too hot in July and August. I am miserable walking outside for a few minutes lol. So likely in September I will pick up both making videos and livestream again.
There used to be a huge left peak on the side of the Jetty with an easy paddle out channel. As usual the wealthy developed the area for speculative profit and disrupted the sand flow. And so it goes.
Having had done some work at Fort Ord in the early 1980’s, I hope they did not renovate any existing buildings from the Army days for use in the CSU campus, as I am sure the majority of buildings built by the US Army contained hazardous materials in the construction of their facilities. Fortunately, I don’t recognize any Army built facilities in this video, but that doesn’t mean there are not still some out there.
Oh my goodness how it's changed! Grew up as a kid here in the 50's ... back when beach property was not a thing and just a bunch of eccentric beach people like my parents lived in rustic homes. No homes existed from Escondido road north end to the pier.
I don’t remember but it’s only for like 2 hours before the last train leaving east from Narai juku I think like 6 pm to 8 pm. Very short time Worth it though 🧊
I moved to Sac from the Bay Area 10 years ago and was fortunate enough to qualify for low income housing in a refurbished former HUD building in Midtown. I had previously changed addresses in the BA 7 times in as many years as rents increased. I now have a beautiful one bed apt instead of a room in a houseful of strangers. I cant tell you how much better my lifr has become since my move. Sacramento has become a very hip town with events on all the time. Its got a great restaurant scene. The two rivers are fantastic if you have a bike, and its a lot closer to the mountains if you ski, fish, boat or hike. Im not leaving, and at 71 theyre likely to drag my stiff body out of my apartment!
