I like this DJ controller but I often do gigs using USBs if I can't bew bothered luckking the gear around or don't need to. Had this set up about 10 years so at this point it is the old gear for me. I initially started with CDs in 2008 plus record club is all vinyl. I do have a couple of old CD-J 200s and a crossfade mixer if I ever want to go CDs or this fails to the point it becomes a backup. But I'd rather get a more basic DJ controller as a backup if possible and I can get one for around $100-150au. I could also use a vinyl turntable with it and crossfade between the digital rig and vinyl. I like mixing it up. CDs aren't all that different to digital but vinyl is a completely different animal.
@@aytakk Like I said before I wish I still had my records and CDs but I got a good price on everything back in the day when I sold it also I like having all my music on external hard drives. However when you're working I will agree it is good to mix it up between vinyl, CDs and downloads
Cool trick or treat goodies bags! Do you all have many treak or treaters these days" In the states where I live it's been VERY sad the last 7ish years with no trick or treaters.- at least not where I've been living!
SA Police run a Halloween registry where you register to be on the Trick or Treaters Welcome list. Helps keep the kids safe and tells people who is definitely participating. We've been on the list in the past but aren't doing it this year but I'll likely have candy on and for just in case. We had Festival of Halloween last week and are going to see Beetlejuice Beetlejuice tonight with the Festival of Halloween crew. Might be something the weekend before Halloween we will do as well, it is close to my birthday.
Lmao! Because it's you, my brain read FLOODLAND instead of FOODLAND. I was thinking 'you're so goth you can casually go somewhere called floodland' but then I realized I was wrong about the name 😆. Happy spooky season! 🦇🦇🦇🎃🎃🎃
@@CrypticJasmine If they have the Ghostbusters Ghost/pumpkin I want it. Will look on Friday but I don't like my chances as that was the last one. They had four the week prior.
@@CrypticJasmine She is 19 and gets carded whenever I take her to a gig with me. She loves Halloween and was asking when we could do Halloween stuff again. She jumped at the chance to volunteer at Festival of Halloween with me and even helped with the Haunt door/line duties. People loved the Sensory session thing we were doing with Igor wheeling around the zombie test subject.
The fishnet gloves were $4 and that was the last black pair. Unfortunately the spiderweb socks did not fit me. Size 7-12 must have been in ladies sizes as they fit Arra perfectly.
I have one more coming from Adelaide Show of a performer. He juggles and tells awful Dad jokes. The sound will be gutted as he uses a lot of copyrighted music as part of the act.
Eating nothing but stick food was a fun way to twist the carnie experience. I tried to convince my daughter that a turkey leg or spare ribs counted as bones are sticks inside animals but she was having none of it.
My daughter (developmentally delayed with the mind of a child but 19 years old) was sitting on the floor in front of the stage with all the kids. She loves Bluey and wanted to do it as last year we sat in the seats near the back of the room. She was worried parents might question her being there but she was fine. I could see her from where I was standing but I don't think I got her on camera as I was avoiding filming kids as much as posible. She is in the stick foods video I posted today though.
Thanks for sharing this with us for me I sold my record collection a long time ago. I have all of my music on five external hard drives. If I'm completely honest I do miss the sound of it. I think that's given with most people
Yeah I think the promo material threw everyone off. So the Halloween newspaper promo was from 2004? Cheers for the correction. Also Are you guys still selling vinyl/CDs through Heartland Records in Melbourne?
