Welcome to The Car Wash Southerner, the one and only and original! The car wash videos here will primarily take place in Central Texas, then work their way outwards. This channel and my main channel are associated with the same Discord server, come on in! (13+): discord.gg/FXa6WRy
Car wash videos will be uploaded every Tuesday and Saturday at 3 PM CDT. Hit that subscribe button and bell for those vids!
I am also the founder of the Texas Car Wash map. If you see a mistake or would like to add a wash or washes I haven't spotted yet, feel free to leave a comment on one of my videos regarding the unadded wash(es)! www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edit?mid=1k8qJJnQFRQGcp0I5r9f3ZGOWy5bF1aEY&ll=31.39576219987765%2C-97.1763110869074&z=13
@WilliamMorris-vw9bq As a fun fact, the first Tandem I've seen had red brushes. This was 11 years ago. Another fun fact, that Tandem was a ProTouch Tandem which was replaced by this same Tandem Surfline just recently. Blue brush Tandems seem to avoid me a bit due to most Tandems near me being at HEBs
@@TheCarWashSoutherner I once went through this kind of wash and it was really cool because basically it has Sony’s and vintage superior and Belanger air cannons dryers but yeah, basically that’s a lot cooler
Tbf there's a lot of water, foam, wax nozzles and brushes in these car washes. You ask me, a lot goes on here. And some side brushes I can't capture if I look straight ahead
It's nice to see a G5 that's still in operation, and in original condition (with the original signage design). Everything seemed to do well, except for the tri-foam, and I wasn't expecting a slow startup from the Max Air dryers (those sound great).
Only other set of MaxAir dryers ik of that wind up slowly is from another G5 recorded by Sunshine Suds, although faster and replaced. So afaik this is the only wash ik of with slow MaxAir dryers that still stands.
It's nice to see that old M5 still in service, though it definitely needs some service work done to it, that wash arm seems to be leaking (and you can definitely tell from the high pressure rinse cycles) which seems to affect the presoak passes, and the nearly empty (reverse) pass after the tri-foam pass is pretty questionable (probably another case of the wash arm leak), also it still seems to still have issues with the sensor for the undercarriage wash.
Well said. Though the undercarriage looks to be activated as soon as the payment for a wash is processed. It's timed as well. Same case for a Softgloss MAXX here in Temple.
@@TheCarWashSoutherner My guess is the sensor has been bad for potentially years, so they just programmed the undercarriage wash to always be on after processed payment just to compensate.
@@TheCarWashSoutherner so they finally replaced the 4000 in the other bay there damn I was hoping someone would have filmed it before it got ripped out of there
If anyone got a Canyon Creek Car Wash notification from me, that was actually not intended. I go by a video schedule of every Tuesday and Saturday at 3 PM. Tandem video came before Canyon Creek video, so that's first and Canyon Creek will be next Tuesday instead of today which I accidentally set it to.
Worst Carwash ever... I hope they gave you a refund and a 500 buck deal for a polish to get rid of the scratches caused by the friction of the brushes.
