I am not going to say everything that should be said... but this video is very misleading by stating its a repair. (Northibg is repaired) It lacks new information, nor does it provide any old information. The best thing about this video is that it is short.
@bigdokeechobee5523 anything you’d like to add in hindsight? Was there anything else going on that contributed to the dry whrrr noise, or like somethin you wish you did while you were in there? I’m probably gonna do transmission heater delete to prevent strawberry milkshake of death (IYKYK) while I’m in there… Anything else come to mind?
Believe it or not this was the best video on RU-vid that I could find to locate the IAC and disassemble everything around it. I have a 1999 Solara SLE with the same engine, 1MZ-FE, and the engine bay is nearly identical. Thank you.
You led me in the right direction with my 2000 regal. Chasing a cam sensor fault for a week. Saw your video and pulled out my cam/crank/ICM harness and found exposed wire hidden inside the conduit that would intermittently short together. Thanks!
I have a 99 Lexus es300 and my fans won’t come on at all and is making my car run hot, do I have to replace the fuse? If so which one ? Or do I have to get the whole assembly fan?
