Hi there, really the air compressor was running at all capacity? Filled the 6 gal tank and 150 psi? It is true I’ll buy one of these. Wait for your answer. Thnx
Modified or Unmodified thinset? Using GoBoard for my application and their "help" line says thinset. There is a difference and you're merging wood with a waterproof backer board. Any thoughts on which is better?
Many thanks! Was on RU-vid specifically looking for technique to rip longer pieces on the wet saw. Need this for my 43" curb as I don't trust myself to make a straight cut that long with a grinder. Kerdiboard scrap, a big speed square, and done, ready to polish.
I use the Makita on grout joints to make a relief cut before I bust out broken tiles in the back of house at chick fil a. I can't ise a grinder because it's too much dust even with a shop vac...it cuts the grout better than the ceramic or porcelain . But definatly small jobs or a lot of battery
That works fine for glass, but how does a person know if they've vibrated the tile thoroughly to have achieved sufficient adhesion when you can't see through the tile?
thanks for the video. I have a question. We have done the pitch 1/4 inch per foot on the mortar which under the liner, do we have to do pitch again on the bed which above the liner?
Adding in the cost of the Kerdi Board and Kerdi Band seems to make this kind of a wash, especially if you consider your time worth money. That said, the original curbs need to be trimmed either way.
Nicely done ! I have this saw I love for everything you just explained. Please note- you will need to buy different colored blades depending on your material. Also I had to call their customer service tech support and someone actually answered the phone ! So their customer service is excellent !!
in your "links below", for your laser level pole system you link to a Johnson product, but in the video you crank the pole up.... what tripod are you using that has the hand crank up/down? thanks
