Good 303 video, showing how the MC-x0x grooveboxes can be used in a very musical way, like instruments, to perform music like a DJ weaving together bits of pre-recorded music and transitioning between them, building up, breaks, etc. I would suggest using some more reverb, some of the synths would sound glorious w just a touch more of that.
Not gonna lie, Behringer have been doing some great things recreating some of these classics. I have a Behringer TD-3 and a Behringer TD-3-MO and they are so much fun. The software that comes with them too is super useful... this is where roland failed with the TB-03... lack of software to edit, upload, download patterns and so on.
I like both. The TR06 has it own sound. The sound variation is a lot wider than the original. You can tweak every instrument to match your need. More sounds, more possibilities and the advance sequencer is a winner. The TR06 is the only drumbox you will ever need, very complete and clever revision.
I have a Roland TR06... love it! the 606 has always been one of my fav drum machines but they are stupid price second hand so I got a Roland TR06 instead.
I dont care how old this instrument is...this video demonstrates that an instrument is only as good as the person using it!... Sometimes as a producer it helps to set yourself limitations, because thats when magic happens... think on this moving forward producers. Some of the most classic dance tunes produced were done on the Amiga 600 in the early 90s... this was very limited indeed but it didnt stop producers producing monster dance tracks. Example: "Urban Shakedown - Some Justice" Moral of the story... dont always rely on new tech for producing. Well done Ticco! I really enjoyed this set. 👍🙏
@@dpalaoro I also wrote loads of tracks on the Amiga 60 back in the day... my Artist name is "NDE", I also produce under "Echo Shore", "D'Blaze", "Temple Of Hades" and a few others lol.... If you listen to my track "NDE - The Fog" that was actually produced on the Sony Playstation in the 90s
Why not use the trigger out on the -06 into the trigger in of the pedal that way you can create a pattern on the sequencer to send pulse data to the pedal?
FM synthesis is one of the most complex synthesis available, with many different parameters. That is why the use of an editor is mandatory. I use Dexed, which is free and very good. The physical controls of the DX200 are just a few, for basic control not for deep editing.
Wouldn't say ALL Volcas have background noise. It differs between models (not units), some of them are noisy, other are very polite ;-) I'm curious though if you found Volca Beats to be too quiet? Many ppl report that in the internetz and i am experiencing the same issue. Like it's much lower output level compared to other Volcas. Some of the solutions include using stereo to 2x mono splitter cable and leaving one mono plug hanging (not connected) or using a summing cable (stereo to mono cable). Anyway... did you feel the need to fix it and how? :-)
Even on battery? Weird, because i too have almost all volcas and i can only complain about Beats being too quiet and Keys being noisy by itself but that's about it. Rest of them are either loud enough that volume can be turned down (be that in volca or at mixer - even better, less noise), so the noise is inaudible or are basically quiet without any noise at all (like digital FM2). Thanks for the quick answer!
Combine with a boss Ha-5 headphone amp and its gold..Geat video bro i need to modify mine i like what that cymbol mod fuggin sick ! Also i just dropped a video Exposing Roland/boss bootleggers hahah check it out for a good laugh😂
