Hi Hareshji, Thank you for the helpful reel. I recently bought a 2 KG gada to start the basic practice with my daughter. If I plan to upgrade say 6-7 months down the line should I go for an 8 KG modular gada or a 7 KG modular mudgal. Would both be equally effective in terms of the possible exercises and strength training or would there be differences, apart from the weight distribution and handling. Thank you Abhishek

Patanjali never mentioned asanas apart from Sukhasana,Siddhasana,Padmasana and Savasana.He said "any"asana will do to move to the second step wich is pranayama,meaning:"breathing with the whole";nothing to do with breathing technique.In fact ,no asana is needed to reach to Stiram,Sukham asanam,and no exercice is needed to reach to Pranayama.Pranayama happens by itslef when awareness of the second body,the pranic body is unraveled by the conscious mind.Dhyan happens in the fourth body,once all first three have been transcended,this is the level of meditation or no-mind state.At wich point the famous sutra:Yoga Chitta Vritti Nirodha.These vrittis can be seen when awareness of the fourth body develops. If is never happened to you ,you will keep on believing in what people say about the sutras. Simon Borg is a contorsionist with very scientific theories on yoga,but he definitely lacks the awareness of the things he speaks about that relate to deeper levels of yoga.He should stay as hatha yoga asanas.And not mislead people into a misinterpretation of the sutras.By moving inwards deeper,one understands the meaning of these sutras;by mere intellectual appreciation,all sorts of imaginary scenarios become possible.
