Thinking of John Charles and his radiant smile… I love you, Elizabeth. Your resilience, determination, passion, and endless love never cease to amaze me.
Fathers play a crucial role in nurturing us as we grow up. Different communities may experience fatherlessness more frequently for various reasons. While I agree with the importance of addressing fatherlessness, it's essential to have a deep understanding of this issue, considering insights from diverse sources beyond the Bible. It's perfectly fine to recommend self-care practices or books from the library. The Bible isn't a quick fix for healing deep emotional wounds. Changing the core belief of feeling abandoned or unwanted by one's father requires mental effort. While sharing scriptures about God as a father to the fatherless can be helpful, we must recognize that people are fragile, and the Bible isn't a magical solution. We should strive to be gentle and understanding towards others to avoid causing irreparable harm.
Love this interview. Great questions and beautifully amazing answers by Jordan. He is such a light. Aren't we in the middle of something all the time? At least I usually am. I love that God's promises remain forever. He is always faithful.
I went to grad school with Tiffany. She is such a kind, beautiful woman who loves the Lord! She impacted me so much many years ago by sharing her testimony with me. She shines bright and her life points so many to Jesus. Thank you for sharing your journey. You have inspired me while in my own season of immense grief. God bless you ladies!
This conversation filled me with clarity on my heart for the longing of true and sincere friendships , my trust was broken with at the time who was my best friend and have hurt from it since then and it’s been about five years. I’ve asked the same questions like Lord I know I can be a great friend why wasn’t I getting that in return ! Anyways I love this conversation and how it brought language to some of my questions about grieving certain friendships . 💕
