I remember playing a lot of PTD before they handed it off to dev gem. I held WR on LeMans for a few days with the corvette with a 2:42.19. I didnt drive LMP cars much before locked ranking became a thing. Sad to see the original devs threw in the towel and gave the game to sub-par devgem
The most genuine tip is to watch his videos. Mimic what he does and see for yourself why he does it. I had so much trouble with this car(the Ford GT 700) since it was my first T4 and I realized that I should have braked and downshifted in corners I usually normally wouldn’t do. The reason is that in any other T2 or T3 cars I drove, braking & downshifting in those corners(not the hairpins, but just sharp turns) was not necessary and would only lose time; however, the GT 700’s acceleration and speed is top-notch, so braking more often does not equate to losing more time with this car. It actually prevents snap oversteer(from too much entry speed) and understeer(lack of power from not downshifting once more or your entry speed is a bit high that it may not cause you to oversteer suddenly, but the car will feel “heavy” and won’t turn).
