Originally it appeared that he was, Goku and Vegeta were about at the same level in that arc aside from Goku doing a lot of training in form I to hold it as his base and neither one could scale their power up while transformed without their muscle size increasing along with their power. Trunks was in the same boat, only gohan was able to scale his power up without his muscles expanding and achieve a true second transformation the others seemed to be capped at form I.
The fandom is split on this because there was filler of Cell training, which left some residual thoughts in the minds of certain people who later forget about it. However, I am firm on this that Cell has the highest potential. With his capability of absorbing bio-mass, he can still gain DNA that wasn't gained from his initial birthing process. Moreover, his survival would eventually coincide with Buu, who if even slightly absorbed, would remove his issue for stamina loss. With Namekian/Buu regeneration, Saiyan/Frost Demon growth, and the complex techniques of everyone including the humans, I don't see where his limits truly are. He may never adopt a transformation, but he should be capable of it when four species that he is composed of are as well. Who knows, maybe someone like Beerus would force that one out.
What if vegeto takes over the body of goku and vegeta when combined? And decides to stay as vegeto and not be defused? This will be the best way to start a new what if!
17:10 I can see the Sharingan overpowering the Majin magic, but the saga wouldn't be obsolete. Sharingan and Majin would clash HARD. Maybe that would even make it more epic than before, depending on how the effect is portrayed. Half the saga would take place in people's minds, but still.
13:14 I don't think anyone who has seen canon Cell is surprised. Cell doesn't need the Sharingan in order to learn FAST, he already does that naturally.
18:15 Actually, I can 100% see this Frieza have them have a go at Majin Buu, have them fail, have them almost die, one-shot Majin Buu at the last second to make them even more loyal than before (due to owing their lives to him) while also keeping them reminded of their place... and, in the process, make the mistake of forgetting just how powerful a Zenkai can be. Cue Goku and Vegeta eclipsing him despite his Golden Form, and he sent them into the fight they almost died in to begin with, so they may refuse to consider it a debt. And if Goku and Vegeta find out what this "meteor" really was (like, let's say one of Frieza's other subordinates blunders it out or something), yeah, they're gonna be MAD.
Re the whole Super Saiyan God topic: I feel like one of 2 things would happen. The first approach is taken from Dark Lord Animations' Gogeta/Vegito vs Beerus: They attempt the SSJG ritual with Goku or Vegeta, but to no avail because there's not enough Saiyans (despite Videl turning out to be pregnant, because Gotenks is one person). In a last-ditch effort to please Beerus, Goku and Vegeta fuse to fight him. During the fight, the fusion manages to attain SSJG due to the constellation shown in the animation. The energy of 4 other Saiyans (Gohan, Gotenks, Vegeta and Videl's unborn child) is within Goku. If he then fuses with Vegeta, the resulting fusion has the energy of 5 other Saiyans - the aforementioned 4 plus Goku himself due to being a separate individual. Technically, they wouldn't even have needed Vegeta to give his energy to Goku because his energy would also be in the fusion directly, but they neither knew that's how it works nor that they would end up fusing to begin with. The second approach takes the same general idea to its logical conclusion. Gotenks is already a fusion, so he carries the energy of 3 Saiyans within him - Trunks, Goten and his own. Which actually means that, with the added energy from Vegeta and Gohan, there's not even a need for Videl's unborn child. Whis just informs them that the ritual can actually be performed straight away due to Gotenks counting as 3 in this fashion. Now, which of these approaches would be reality probably depends on whether Trunks' and Goten's energy fully merged alongside their selves. If not, then the second scenario takes place, and the first if it did. I honestly feel like an actual anime, manga or fan animation would most likely take the first approach, since IMO the whole sequence (starting with Videl turning out to be pregnant) would be plot twist barrage done right and feels very Toriyama (I can't take credit for the idea though, that's all Dark Lord's).
26:05 A fun variant would be if Cell wiped most Saiyans out, but then got destroyed by the few that did not just train, but travel to train. Which basically would amount to Bardock, Gine (probably), Kakarot, Raditz and MAYBE Prince Vegeta who starts training after seeing that those lower-class warriors have eclipsed him and obviously not being happy about it. Then again, King Vegeta would probably feel the same way and primarily train with his son. And in the scenario that everyone would be training, King Vegeta would probably restrict Super Saiyan Godhood to the royal line... unless that wouldn't work because the royal line in particular are still conquerors at heart.
Manga spoilers (will or maybe have been turned into anime) Broly actually can control his rage later on. And he actually learned it within seconds by observing Gohan control Beast Mode.
I honestly think Frieza would go for another wish, this time upon Shenron. Either he'd wish for a loyal servant at Broly's strength level, or as CheeseWheel said, or he'd wish to learn what he actually needs to last against Beerus. In the last case, he'd then keep training with himself on Earth, while waiting for another wish to be ready. He'd wish for the ability to not be able to be destroyed, even in case of the destruction of the entire universe. Shenron would tell him he cannot grant him that, so he would wish for the knowledge of how he can reach that power. Thus, Frieza would learn about the Super Dragon Balls. He would proceed to gather them, probably racing against Beerus while avoiding a direct confrontation. He'd then wish for the aforementioned destruction immunity, but also immunity against sealing, and the third wish would probably be the wish CheeseWheel suggested. Then, he'd face off against Beerus, and with these wishes in place, it would be an eternal fight where both dish out as hard as they take.
I'm starting to see a pattern in your Frieza What Ifs. It really shows just how powerful Frieza is and how much earlier that would've come to fruition if Frieza had been just a little less evil (or in this case, a lot less evil).
12:35 So here's something I just realized. Cell also has his arrogance from Vegeta to a large extent. With a less prideful Vegeta, Cell (if he manages to avoid getting killed and power up to Perfect Cell) might actually train for the Cell Games, which is... scary, to say the least.
Also, in general, I think Gogeta and Vegito would be more of an option because Vegeta would be less reluctant, but at the same time the rival boost would take a severe dip. On a second thought, their rivalry might actually not be any less strong, but rather simply... different. That's probably a topic for a follow-up - would they still have the rival boost when fused? Yes, no, partially?
9:13 The question is, would they actually go for the kill against 17 and 18? Or would Vegeta suggest that they knock them out and Bulma not only removes their bombs, but also fixes their programming where needed (probably amounting to "patching out" their forced drive to kill Goku, which should be enough to have them get along with the Z-Fighters)?
It's super funny how Might Guy keeps being subtitled as "my guy". Also the amount of ways Kaio-Ken is spelled. Those auto-generated subtitles you edited into the video are definitely something else, lol. On a more serious note, what if the Gates were just a x2 multiplier, but stacked multiplicatively rather than Kaio-Ken's additive scaling? Gate 1 and 2 would be merely a Kaio-Ken and the same Kaio-Ken x4 that bested Vegeta in base, but later gates would be kinda off the charts. Gate 4 would already surpass the Kaio-Ken x10 that Goku uses relatively early, Gate 5 would surpass any Kaio-Ken Goku ever used in canon, and it would only get crazier from there, with Gate 7 being enough to go beyond even the (I'm pretty sure) non-canon Kaio-Ken x100.
I don't think Cell would be quite as easy to defeat. Like yes, it's true that he wouldn't feel the need to train, but in exchange, it does feel like a Cell move to actually use Shadow Clones in battle. Plus, he would have Goku's new "emergency techniques" and he wouldn't be above using them either. I mean, Cell is getting clapped anyway, but he might give them a bit of a struggle.
You speak of Goku being riddiculously strong, while showing gameplay fights where Goku is getting mauled... I mean, it's a cool idea, but the execution could probably be a bit better.
I mean, Gohan would be a cyborg rather than an Android because his brain would still be human. Similar to Cyber Frieza, but probably needing more of his body replaced.
Now I kinda want to see a remaster of this What If. This has easily more untapped potential than any Gohan, canon or otherwise (and that's saying something).
As someone who just freshly decided to binge your videos, I'd say you might want to consider linking your other channels in your Channels tab. I think that tab will appear as soon as you put anything in it.
6:40 Wait... Are you doing here what I think you're doing? 5:30 is where it started to sound like it, and every new development seems to confirm it. But you're right, Beast Vegito sounds like an absolute Toriyama move in the best way possible.
immortality wouldn't save frieza from lord beerus or especially zeno. He'd have to specifically specify to be immortal even to Gods and their attacks. Frieza does seek immortality in cannon (and squanders it with growing taller instead via a wish). One Hakai and he's dead
Beerus can't erase immortals But on the other hand, Zeno can still erase someone who wished for Immortality using the SUPER dragon Balls Freeza doesn't have to worry about Beerus once he gets Immortality even if he only uses the regular dragon balls, but unless Freeza uses the super dragon balls and specifies he wants to be immune to even Zeno, Freeza would have to worry about that, and even then it's possible that Zeno or the GP could still seal Freeza away or erase the entire multiverse around Freeza leaving him with nothing to do
@@SilverSaiyanAce idk about that didn't beerus say he could remove even immortals once? Even still Beerus couild still seal Frieza within a item like he did with Old Kai. So he could still deal with even a immortal Frieza even if not technically killing him
@@patg108 He said he could erase ghost and gag characters during the Arale/Dr slump episode, but during the zamasu arc It was heavily implied that he couldn't erase genuine immortals who wished for actual Immortality
@@SilverSaiyanAce but Zamasu was only 1/2 mortal and Beerus said he could erase him. Which also implied that even lesser gods weren't immune to erasure from a destroyer.
@@patg108 Zamasu was fully immortal until the fusion MERGED zamasu was the one who was only half immortal Beerus 'Claimed' that erasing The current zamasu (the one who didn't wish for immortality) would erase the other zamasu, wich was proven wrong immediately due to the fact that both black and zamasu WERE STILL THERE It's time travel stuff Plus Beerus only really 'Claimed' that destroying past zamasu would destroy future zamasu because he wanted to be done with the whole situation
Mate you're don't have the subs you deserve. Great storytelling and pacing. Overall I assumed you'd have atleast 100k subs before I check and realised it's not even close. I can see soon you'll be a big one among the dbwhatifs.
