Looks like the Liquid Texture Pack mod is being overwritten by the built-in liquid shaders that come with RT Doom, which makes sense since it reroutes a lot of the rendering from regular GZDoom into the new RT pipeline. Good job getting custom maps and the hi-res textures working though! I couldn't get anything outside of the default Doom 2 maps to load properly because I guess everything for it has to be pre-baked ahead of time.
Funny you mention the liquid texture, I been trying to figure this out all morning. You are correct on the pack being overwritten. Haven't figured out how to bypass that so far.
@@5daysastranger looking into it with HD textures, there are still some textures that show to PBR effect, some stone, wood and metal wall textures. Also the 3d Icon of sin still looks great. I'm sure the creators of the mods will continue to add more to these mods. The Doom community always amazes me with their creations.
I wish I could watch the full run. ^_^ Hi there! I made this map. Thank you a lot for uploading the video. It is amazing to be able to see people playing Anhangá. 😀
Looks great! I can appreciate the voxels for how they retain the feel of the sprites, but personally they kind of sit in this weird middle space between the sprites and actual 3d models. I know doomsday engine gets a lot of hate but I've always used the older models that are closer to the sprites than the newer "realistic" models.
Yeah I feel ya, I enjoy trying out new map packs but enjoy the original monsters more than the newer fancy ones with other mods like brutal doom. Still enjoyable don't get me wrong, just the nostalgia of the classic mobs feel like the best gameplay overall.
@@PrimoRockerthe tank you pass at around 18 min is a Panzer III Ausf. M. The only Tiger I (I think) in this video is in like the last few seconds before it ends. I’m just confused why you put a Tiger I in the thumbnail when you’re playing a T-34-76 the whole time? Doesn’t make any sense.
there are some hd sprites for monsters and weapons for heretic and hexen!! I don't understand why nobody use them!! It works perfectly with this graphic mod (pbr)
Looks like a lot of fun. I haven't figured out that combo yet, but I figured out BrutalWolf using Doom64 textures and flashlight, turned brightness down so flashlight is essential to see enemies. Turns the game into a real horror story.
