I love how Team Ninja reuses Boss Themes, they match the theme despite recycling. Yoshitsugu's resolve and loyalty has deep sense of drama, and it can somehow be felt as well with The Ogress. Tsukiyama was filled with sorrow and grudge that she returned to the mortal realm from her determination. She is indeed hideous but i like how you can feel her sadness from her face. I also like how Team Ninja mocap'ed and animated her gracefully. Her hug attack is beautiful, like a mother embracing her child with intense emotions. Nioh is a masterpiece and I can't wait to play Nioh 2!

The music of nioh and nioh 2 are legendary, I always listen to their soundtracks but this track has always been my favorite. It stands out as the track for the beginning of your journey as William.
Be glad they nerfed the hell out of these guys. They were so aggressive before that no hitting this was just not worth it. Nice job regardless though! Been fun keeping up with your run!
@@gmf8 Bro imagine rl1 🤣 It was insane. The solution was really fun and satisfying but it definitely didn't help my already bitter outlook on the games bosses 🥲 As much as I'm glad you didn't have to suffer it, it also sucks that nobody will know my pain, ever 🥲
Really nice one! The end was genuinely a little harrowing. Glad you fed torrent, he deserves it. I usually fight dragons on foot, keeping in front of their heads and rolling backwards (kinda like Midir), only getting on horseback to run or catch up. But it works best on flat ground, and I never found a clean way to fight Ekzykes.
He did deserve it! Considering their head is a weak point I suppose it's how you're supposed to fight them. I have no idea if it's easier to hit it on foot or on horseback, I got used to do them with Torrent in my first playthrough and didn't try anything else lol. Ekzykes might have the worst arena but even against some of the others it can get very weird. Even Agheel sometimes gets stuck in the cliffs or the ruins ...

Lmao i summon some people to fight againts my mimic at NG+7 and he fucking destroys everyone
Some bosses are harder and some attacks more BS than this for sure but I know which ones so i'll prepare my weapons and BHS if necessary. The worst part here is that it really caught me off guard, I'm a bit ahead and haven't fought something this bad yet.
@@gmf8 Yea imagine doing your first RL1 run blind and doing all bosses, without knowing everything ahead of time 🙃 People keep telling me, "just use BHS blah blah" and its like.... you can't make an easily missable item required to avoid attacks. That is bad design. I know you can pull it off, but it is definitely some of From's worst. Can't get much worse than Gwyn though 🤣 Try and find a legit SL1 fight where people don't parry him to death, or stagger spam him.
