I fly my Mavic 3 drone almost everyday. And mostly do photogrammetry (create 3D models using images that I capture). I post videos about every week if the weather corporates. I will be adding DJI Avata flights (because I got the Avata ), so far much fun and easy to fly.
Heyyyy!! Not bad 🙌 A small tip that might help you smooth out your rolls a little bit, press the yaw axis in the opposite direction of the roll just a little wee bit and your roll will center and zero in on a center point rather than having a flop type of rotation. Thanks for sharing, always fun to watch FPV videos.
@@bmylan I was going to say it looked like some of them had that crispy center in the spiral 🌀👍🏼 I’m just mastering that myself, I can feel myself favoring “right rolls” over left. Thanks for the response! I’ll subscribe to your channel ⭐️
It's the original Mavic 3. I got it about a month after they came out. I don't think DJI will ever release the SDK for the Mavic series. So no third party software will work.
Strange, usually shows straight lines going all over the place. But it will follow the waypoint numbers. I don't know why it does that....but remember this is a workaround and never intended to be used non-enterprise drones. Use at your own risk.
I just let 3DF Zephyr do the work. It's the quality of the photos gives it a clean look (and a ton of processing). Also the animation is created by 3DF Zephyr...Thanks for your comment :-)
Yes they are...This was my fault ..( I did pay this lesson in aircraft maintenance..) I have the Avata 2 and won't make the same mistake....) I will make a new one ) ...thanks for your comment :-)
I crashed my Avata in the first week I had it, and got the "ESC Error" - off to DJI (they repaired under warranty - didn't even have to invoke my Care Refresh benefit) - but while I was waiting - I bought a Nazgul (and crashed it). While I was waiting for that - bought the DIY Bardwell kit, and well - the rest is history. I noticed a 'Vision System Calibration Error" in your OSD: I started getting that after a recent impact - and haven't been able to complete the calibration process in DJI Assistant 2. Guess you can't try it now - but wondering if you'd had that error prior to this flight? I've had it for a couple weeks now - but the Avata still (seems to) fly okay.
I crashed again the second day I got it back. It broke the glass in the vision sensor (hence the error). I pulled the rest of the glass out of the sensor, recalibrated and now get the error intermittently. It still fly's great. I really need to practice loops.
Nice flying - good fun. #QuestForBando While I’ve moved on to BNF and DIY FPV builds - I still enjoy flying the Avata from time to time. Gotta get some mileage out of Care Refresh!
There are videos on the channel that show how I do it. Basically I use the hyper lapse command and set capture speed. Then just use the photos in the file it created. Then use 3DF Zephyr to make the model....hope that helps
I like DJI. I don't care if they track my data ( they will really be disappointed). The products they sell are always good and reliable. I have other drones and use them. DJI is just fine with me.
Oh man, it happens to my Avata 2 days ago, also I loss control but I thought I did something wrong, maybe is issues right now, I’m sending my today to DJI, 😎🤝
Yea this happened yesterday. Got the shipping label from DJI last night. I also will be sending it off today. Hope it doesn't take a long time. I love this drone and was finally getting halfass in manual mode. Take care
Thanks guy... I do have the remote controller . I'm still doing the training thing with the DJI Virtual Flight app. It's not easy but I don't want crash the Avata in real life as much as I do on the app.
good flying bro! right now i’m just getting into fpv, im going to buy the radiomaster boxer elrs then use a flight sim till im comfortable, then ill buy the goggles and drone, im gonna get the mobula8 and the Eachine EV800DM, safe flights bro!
The best thing about snow is most of it is a long way north of me . We get snow once or twice a year but most of the time it's gone the next day . You have a blessed one .
