Hi 👋🏾 my name is Yorelis and I am from NYC. My channel is all about beauty, fashion & lifestyle. I recently went all natural from relaxed hair and I would like to share my journey with you. I also just opened my NEW online store called shopnovaliz.com where you can get all your curly hair needs. I would love for you to check it out.
I had a short pixie which required a relaxer, I then got an undercut and braids on top, now 3 months post relaxer and trying to grow out an undercut…. I’ve been wearing curly crochet hair and avoiding heat.
Hey, I got that brush at a local beauty supply and unfortunately the one that’s similar that I recommend is sold out :/ but the brand is called lado pro
@@Yorelis You're most welcome! 🥰 Our units would look stunning on you. Click the link in our bio for a free consultation with our team. We've got something exciting for you! ☺
How did you get your root so smooth? I just wanna know some tips and tricks bc normally I be having to pull out that hot comb. (mind you I have a mix of all type 4 hair).
When i do mine, i use pins. But I totally understand. My hair is super thick. I roll mine straight after washing. I have a dryer that attaches to my handheld dryer. i love your technique. My hair came out straighter and was not stiff at all. But i am afraid to go get it done because i dont like cutting my hair. I also try using baba de caracol products. The slip is amazing and it leaves my hair feeling soft.
My mother always targeting me! It don't matter what it could be, whether it's my clothes or anything! I'm grown! Everytime, I visit her, she always have something to say! Now, I have naturally long hair and I love it! Yet my mother(elderly lady) always saying why my hair too woolly and that I need to put something in it (hinting to a perm)! My hair is naturally curly and she always saying why my hair woolly! It's NOT! It's curly like the beautiful lady on this channel. Sometimes, I want to ask my mother, "Why she wear wigs?" since she always targeting me, but I'm not trying to be disrespectful. I'm tired of her coming at me with those spiteful comments.
Hiii Yorelis! Have you tried the Adwoa beauty hair care line? I’ve recently tried the blue tansy reparative mask and I liked it. I think you should look into it, a bit pricey but I like it!
You are so courageous for sharing your story. You are a strong woman of faith & I pray the Lord strengthens you & guides you. May he wrap you in his loving arms & comfort you 🙏🏾❤️
I just stumbled on your video, and i started my journey a year and 3 months ago. After just deciding, I wanted to try natural. I didn't do any research.Ive done i believe everything your video said not to do. At first i stayed on the heat then i went to braids i failed to moisturize correctly i thought ouling my scalpbwas a cure all😐 i was literally just thinking a few weeks ago that i wanted to get my creamy crack back but im thinking about reconsidering the more knowledge i get.
It’s all a learning process in our journeys. I hope this video helped you find your way. At the end, always do what will make you happy and the rest will follow
Good job newbie with the research! 👏 Here's a slight correction. Low porosity hair has a cuticle layer that lies very flat. This makes the hair more resistant to absorbing water and other substances. It also means that once moisture does penetrate the surface, the hair RETAINS it for longer. High porosity hair is the one with a hard time retaining (keeping in) water, and easily releases it due to the cuticles open. Low porosity hair takes a long time to get water, use warm water and deep condition with heat. High porosity hair super porous so hair gets wet quick and dries fast.
Hi Yorelis.. it’s been a while since I watched one of your videos and I always enjoy them. But, this one is incredibly hard to watch and I just want to hug you so bad. Benny seemed like the person to wash all of your fears away and say, “just go for it!” I can understand you, losing a loved one is heart wrenching. Grief is hard, but it also shows us that only the body decayed and the Spirit of your loved one is continuing the marathon. No one is comparable to the Spirit of your loved one! 💜 Grief is a challenge and it is a beautiful journey all in one because it also shows how strong you truly are, in many ways you didn’t know. I love you, Yorelis, although I am just a supporter of your hard work and growth. Just remember that Grief is a teacher: to show how strong we are to go through trials and tribulations, to show how determined we are to make our loved one proud, to show how committed we are to become 10x better than they would want us to be in certain aspects and areas. Although you are grieving, we also have to remember that our loved one never left this circle of life. Benny is with you, always. Never forget that. 🤍💐
Wow 🥹 I’m so grateful for your message, the way you just fully understood how difficult grief can be and your encouraging words- THANK YOU for taking the time out and giving me encouragement to keep going. You’re absolutely right our loved ones are never truly gone, they are here with us every step of the way. God bless you 🙏🏽❤️
