What a legend Thanks to these videos, I was able to bruteforce my way through killing mohg pretty early (before golden godfrey) and without much in the way of preparation or buffs - just golden vow and hours of deaths. Now I've got his spear to +10 and I can't wait to break the game with it. Now I'm motivated to try a RL1 run sometime in the future.
Golden Order Greatsword is one of the most aesthetically pleasing weapons in the game. The actual performance surely doesn't match the legendary looks tho IMO, it should perform just as good as a Darkmoon GS, but for holy damage.
This is actually one of my favorite kills of Mohg that I have, mainly because of the stat requirements for me to use it at level 1, I only have 3 minutes to use this weapon with the build set up so I had to play as aggressively as I could to take him down in 3 minutes.
Damn this is impressive. I tried to make this weapon work against Fire Giant in my holy damage focused run. It sucks ass, even the weapon art is underwhelming. When I go back to that run i'll probably just use coded sword or cipher pata against it just like I did for everything else, because cipher pata absolutely wrecked mohg. I saw that you had a cipher pata kill on this very channel, time to check it out
Thank you! and just like the other commenter said, what type of build/weapon do you have? It's really up to what playstyle fits you the best because any build is viable, the wolf is fairly fast and can combo you if you get the dodge roll timing wrong on some of his attacks, just takes some practice. If you just got to Liurnia you can explore the area and level up a bit more, you might find more weapons and smithing stones to level up your weapons. A character named Iji is in Liurnia in the northeast, he sells Somber Smithing Stones up to 4. Also in the northeast is the Jellyfish Shield. has 100% physical block but also has an Ash of War ability that grants 10% attack damage, could help against the wolf if you can't get dodge timings down for his attacks. You'll still take some damage blocking his magic attacks though.
enough damage/hits in a certain amount of time can break a bosses stance, but charged attacks and jump attacks will stance break bosses quicker and easier. Just have to play aggressively.
Damn man. I gave up RL1 after my club run and Scimitar run. You went and did every boss on every cycle. I just got Used CE to increase it to ng+7 and did malenia only there.
Btw that snap at 1:38 you don't need to dodge. You can hug the leg on the right (on the crotch/between leg size) and it won't hit you. Gives you an even longer opening.
Mogh was my Hardest RL1. Barely got it with a lightning club for phase 1 and bleed for phase 2 (to not increase resistence) and some Protrction bubble perfume. GG on doing him over and over.
