I like the atmosphere/build up in the og The portable one has my favorite of Thanatos’s raging destruction The movie is the perfect middle ground and enjoyment The reload feels so drawn out and sluggish at times and how they did Thanatos popping out is just worse than the others
Kinda funny when i find comment that try to making reload look so bad when they try to said it is "p5 clone" while in reality it nowhere near p5 and it still respect most of the core of og p3 game
She is trans if you only look at her from the possibility of being trans. In the original Japanese version the translation from beldome was vivian is man like, a common insult to a younger sister, and that's one of two peice of why people say she is trans. The other reason is a line that I have yet to people talk about but have no images of where vivian says "I have the body of a boy and heart of a girl" but I can't find the line in the game with the only thing on it was an old Twitter post saying it's there. If you look at the remake where she says something like "I thought I was thier younger brother but know now I'm thier younger sister" It easily reads as trans regret which makes way more since for japan given thier hatred of the trans idea, only recently allowing one to change thier gender on thier ID. Also people hate this because the trans ideology shouldn't really be in a kids game and most people don't like what that idea stands for and has done to kids.
Something the original did better than the others is the moments before Makoto pulling the trigger. They instead of putting the background, only draw makoto in a white scene, which is better because that time felt like it was apart from what is actually happening, felt like those 15 seconds were only 2 in real life but because of the adrenaline of the moment we just experienced everything much slower, which is reinforced by the strong heart beats, when they put the background, I can't think other thing than "Seriously the shadow is just waiting to makoto to kill him? because this is getting waaay too long". The other thing is Thanatos, in OG he's fast and wild, that roar wasn't just to show off, he appeared, ripped appart Orpheus and didn't even hesitate to go straight to kill. THAT'S SICK AS F**K. Reload instead, Thanatos appeares but in a more "elegant" way, tooks even more time just to pull out his sword, then for some reason waits 3 seconds doing nothing and then goes to kill the enemy.
The original one is honestly my favorite, but Makoto's scream in Reload had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I also liked how Reload stayed faithful to Yukari's hesitation to pull the trigger, and Ikutsuki's reaction to Thanatos was also done really well.
