Caroline grew as a character, you should watch her storyline, she went through a lot and even began to see good in Klaus, he protected her and liked that she would stand up to him and if you watch the episodes like the one where Elena loses her humanity and they go to prom she went to him for a dress and he provided, he even got her the blue dress that Hope wore in legacies to win miss mystic falls. He did things for her he wouldn’t do for someone else. Watch the show you’ll see how she, Camille, Hayley and Hope changed him.
