I cannot find a complete 360 of this tent. One video said the rain fly in the back is full length and zippered to cover the massive rear window. Is that true?
Looks super easy! Cub scouts mom here and I need something I can set up alone if my husband can’t come along. Thanks so much for filming this. Could I fit a queen air mattress and a twin air mattress in there?
Could not see anything as to how well the zipper works for the door. Does it take 2 hands? I'm guessing it would, if the material is not taut enough, right?
@@caughtinthewild1957 how bunched up are your toes? I have the So Ill Zero, and they recommend going up 1½ sizes from your shoe size, I went up 2 whole sizes and my toes are very squished, probably shoot have gone up 2½ sizes. Sorry for the questions, I'm buying from the UK shipping from the US so have to get it right as I can't return.
We saw this nice tent at Academy when we were shopping for camping gear cuz we needed an upgrade we considered it our anniversary gift to ourselves LOL thank you for the video we can't wait to use our new tent👍👍 I used to be a hardcore Coleman Camper myself that is what my grandparents and parents taught me when I was camping and growing up because we went camping all over the place and we did see the Coleman 8-person tent at Academy also and it looked pretty nice and I was struggling between that one and the Magellan that you showed in your video so I decided change is good and get something different now I'll just have to get everything else to match LOL
I have opened hiking RU-vid channel since February 14th 2021 n trying to make better video, show brilliant view. Also, learn how others do on RU-vid channel like U. Thanks for sharing your story.
Go follow Mallard Creek Outdoors on Instagram. We slayed em on the outer banks this year got a few pics. I didn’t film unfortunately I was to busy enjoying the moment
I just completed the Cox Mountain Trail. Liked your video. I know who the mountain goat is in the family from your video! LOL. I review lots of trails in NC and I'm subbing to see which ones you do!
Wow, cool friendly family Video! Anyhow, how is that tent holding up? It's actually been 6 months since you uploaded this vid. How well does it do with rain, and have you had any problems (*any known tears) with it? And last but not least how strong are the Stakes and the overall quality of the material of the tent. Durability Rating? I Apologize for all these questions, but I was walking by this tent the other day in Academy and it's price caught my eye.
Pokechampions644 the tent is still holding up with no issues. We have had it out in the rain but nothing crazy like a thunderstorm so I can’t speak on that part. You can’t beat the tent for the money.
I’m trying to decide between these and the Merrell choprock, I want them for stream walking then to be able to get out and go for a long hike and have them dry quick, preferably wear them barefoot without getting blisters. These just don’t seem as much like a water shoe to me as the choprocks do. Any experience with the choprock or are these perfect for what I’m looking for?
Nicolas Walsh I do not have any experience with the chop rock however what you are describing is what my wife and I do with our Astrals. If your not set on these look into the various other astral shoes out there. If not Merrell is a solid company as well and I don’t think you could go wrong with either one.
Thank you for sharing! From a guy that's lived in the Western US for the last 43 years. This might make me want to come back East to visit. Excellent shots of the Landscape there!
Came over from your link in the FB group. Not bad, much better music choice than most other videos I've seen. Can't wait to see some more. I would like to see more information about the destination though. (Maybe something else thrown in like campsite & vista portions in the video.)
