How often did you do your water changes and how many percentage of water were you replacing during those 5 months? This is an insanely amazing tank and UG care!
Could you please do a PAR test of the WRGB Slim 2 series ? The PAR data for the Slim2 series is not yet available on the Chihiros official website. Thank you.
Yes I’m quite impressed. The bond is really good, and cures within seconds. It does get a bit Smokey as you can see so be careful. I do like that with the right Color you don’t need to sprinkle soil over the cotton
@@scaping.architect hey bro i have a question! is fine gravel alright for top layer? can it take in waste and make it into nutrients for the plants or can sand only do that?
Dry start will allow your carpeting plants to fill the scape faster as they have more access to CO2. Indirectly it will reduce chances of algae as you will have more healthy plants to begin with 😁 so I think depending of the species sometimes it’s a benefit to dry start
Enjoyed this discussion of Iwagumi. Nice vibe, cool story and dialogue. Also it didn’t feel like you were bragging about the fancy equipment and kept it humble for those of us who can’t yet afford that stuff but would love to have it. Cool to see you reuse the soil too!
I was saving my pennies for the purpose of purchasing this light... I almost ordered the thing until I happened to stumble upon a video that explained in very few words; this light too can cause algae growth!! Wooaaaa! I think I'll buy a car instead!
Awesome scape man. Did you do any water changes over the 7 weeks. Other than the APT start what other feeds did you add and how did you feed and keep wet the Bruce that was completely out the water. Thanks
Can you tell after how many days did you planted the MC? And what do you think, how should it be fertilized? Because,it has tendency to develop Cyanobacteria as I read about it. As fertilizer,I use “green” Tropica.
Not every design needs to have a raised soil profile in the back. Doing the opposite has the same effect. It feels like you are on the top of a hill and just over the ridge could be more. Very nice
Thank you for the kind words mate! I agree and in this particular scape it was a peninsula design that can be viewed from 3 sides. So it had to be flat for it to look nice from all sides
Great video guys :) Loved hearing passionate and well spoken people talking about this wonderful hobby! Has motivated me to do some more scaping myself :)
Thank you mate! I’m so glad to hear as that was the starting point for the whole series - to inspire people through other scapers ! Keen to see what you come up with 👌
Nice, I'm going to enjoy this series. I have often looked at little patches of plants on the sidewalk (I say pavement) or growing straight out of a brick wall or some ridiculous place and thought it funny how pleased we aquascapers would be to achieve something similar, and how much effort we spend trying to get things growing when nature does it all over the place. Such a show off
