I lmao when an unknown viewer dislikes a video like this one. First, YT failed you. You aren’t interested in birding, garden, wildlife. Second, who in their right mind could dislike a baby Cardinal taking its first flight while mom and dad Cardinal watch over it. Feel’n sorry for ya. ‘‘Twas a sweet experience. I’ll be posting similar as they occur. Presently have a Cooper’s Hawk nesting nearby.
When I find the time I go back to watch/listen again. I am amazed by what I see with a second glance. Watch for glowing white eyes, fireflies and others insects glow white in the infrared light. The night and early morning are much busier than they appear.
You win! 🎉 I took video this morning of one skunk in the left field and three in the right. There is a den to the right that I discovered in March. Wish I had put a camera on it. Hind sight.
OWLS, the name of our sanctuary. you can hear owls in our videos but the insect doesn’t allow us to hear much of anything. A few more weeks and they will be gone again. #owls
If you dislike because there are no owls in THIS video we have many videos without owls, OWLS is our name, we are building habitat for owls, four species so far call owls home. In time you will not only hear them you will see them. I’ve been listening to the owls here for over 20 years, seemed like a perfect name. Sorry if you were disappointed.
The first bird you hear is a Northern Cardinal, followed by a Carolina Wren, Bewick’s Wren and a Barred Owl. Then an Eastern Towhee, Spotted Owlet, American Robin, Melodious Blackbird. Merlin heard a Three-wattled Bellbird but I think those live in Costa Rica 😂 finally a Ring-necked Pheasant, Tufted Titmouse and a Rose-breasted Grosbeak’s
Ouch, haters be hating on a platform where you can hate anonymously. I blame YT for setting it up this way. Original sound, original video, wild turkeys, narration, and three haters hate? What’s to hate about the sights and sounds of wildlife. I can’t remember the last time three people hated one of my videos? 😂 I never would have guessed they would hate this one. Just so the haters know, these birds are safe so long as they stay on the 400 acres sanctuary and no fool poaches. We defend wildlife, take only what we need and we prosecute poachers. Too bad we can’t eliminate the hate.these birds are survivors of the season, one more week to go.
Purple Finch, Wild Turkey 🦃 American Crow, Downy Woodpecker, Northern Cardinal, Carolina Wren, cow 🐄 White-throated Sparrow, Mourning Dove 🕊️ House Finch, Merlin can be wrong but this seems pretty accurate. Barn Swallow.
Downy Woodpecker, Tufted Titmouse, Mourning 🕊️ Dove, White-eyed Vireo, American Robin, American Crow, Common Grackle, Carolina Wren, Eastern Towee, Ruffed Grouse, Northern Flicker, Barred Owl, Yellow-breasted Chat, Black-headed Saltator, using a bird app, can’t be certain these are all correct. I’ll be attempting to capture them on video as I am tripling the number of cameras on site. European Greenfinch. The app identified a great blue heron but I don’t know if they are even in Kentucky. I have seen herons in the past but never identified it. Now I am curious. We have numerous ponds and creeks? Pale-vented Pigeon, Pied-billed Grebe, Striped Cuckoo, House Wren,
The recording always sounds different from live audio or in person audio. I’m guessing it’s a bird. But what is it doing? Is that it’s sound or it is tapping on wood?
To the two who dislike, I don’t care. I make these for myself, if anyone enjoys then great if not, lol, so what. The song made me laugh out loud and fit my day. Doe looked like she just wanted to graze but something was disturbing her.
Our 1 year old pup found a massive65-6 point split one on our normal daily walk in the woods a couple months back. Then last week, she brought a tiny 2 point from a very young buck at around 7am. We didn't train her to do that.
@@mysecondfiftyyears my stepdad (I still live with my mom due to disabilities and the current economy) is wanting to train her to find them. I did her primary and off leash training, so he's doing the research to train her to do this.
I get an idea of what is not right with our world when I see a dislike on a hiking, tree identification, drought exploring, thinking out loud video. There are plenty of gaming vids for the lost soul. Without trees he/she wouldn’t have the oxygen to press dislike. 🤣 🌲🌳🍀🦃🦌🐛☀️👍
You speak my language! It took us 3 years to find wild pawpaw, just three fruit left. That was several years ago. We planted every seed, got two dozen trees, 13 have survived the winters and summer droughts. Over Thanksgiving week we found 25 mature Osage orange on the property and numerous saplings and 4 fruit! Going to plant every seed once again. Chestnut I have not found, might be my next search!!!🎉 🌲 🌳
