My friend, I did the same as in the video, but when I import it to the editor, a message appears saying that the animated fbx version is wrong, do you know what could be happening!?
Muito obrigado, seu video me inspirou em fazer do meu carro, foi meu 3 objeto 3D criado, fiquei muito satisfeito com o que consegui fazer, graças a seu video eu consegui fazer o meu ❤❤❤
I did everything as said all the steps are working i am able to see the animation in CM showroom but when i try to animate the hood in game nothing happens . What to do please help :(
I made an animation on the car hood, when I go to ks editor it gives me this error and I don't know how to solve it animation failed to load, check version details fbx: importer->initialization failed HELP ME PLEASE
@stewiefd3s hey I followed every step you provided. I was able to pop the hood in game. I have 2 problems though, 1st, the hood in the animations option in CM showroom doesn't show up. And the major issue is when popping the hood in game, the hood does the animation, but after reaching its endpoint, it suddenly appears back as it was closed. Then after pressing the bind again, the hood teleports back to the opened state and then does the closing animation. Pls help. i lose my mind already.
Had to watch it a few times but much quicker and easier than watching a 45 minute tutorial about all the things I’ll probably never use. Just wanna change the colour and put stickers on, this video was perfect for that.
I highly recommend taking the wheel arch liners out if you are down doing this job anyway. It makes it a little easier to reach the bolt that holds the bumper to the wing inside the arch. But most importantly it is super common for the arch liner to hold mud, leaves, dead insects etc. Behind it against the paintwork and rot your car from the inside out. I have a cheeky video on my channel showing it. It's just a bunch of Torx screws T25 I think. Super easy to do super worth doing.
Make a layer group and put new layers in that group. Then you don't have to merge every layer, so you can keep fine-tune every layer everytime you want. Export the group to .DDS and you're good to go.
