Boy, if you have not heared this music before, maybe you listen first and than talk, ha? You talk too much at the very critical moments and quite spoilling them...
Billboard Pink Floyd‘s evergreen album The Dark Side of the Moon continues to hold the record, by far, for the most charted weeks on the Billboard! The set, which was released in 1973 and spent a week at No. 1, continued to chart on a mostly regular basis through 1988. After 1988, the set departed the tally, but returned in 2009 once the chart’s rules were altered to allow older albums (generally referred to as “catalog albums”) to rank on the weekly list. (Between May 1991 and December 2009, catalog albums were mostly barred from charting.)
Heey you just got a new subscriber! I'm 26 and basically grew up with Pink Floyd. My dad listend to them all the time and they became one of my favorite bands as well. Would be so cool to see you reacting to more of their music!
I like most of the commenters here can't count the number of times I have listened to this album. Still makes the hair stand up on my arms. I want to be around when you discover PF Animals
Daechwita has several meanings in Korean. It can also mean the song played when a king enters which evolved into the meaning here which is like an anthem.
I think one of the reasons that us younger people think that the Beatles sound "boring" is because we are so used to the modern technology and hearing the best of the best! We're spoon fed the songs that are the most popular either on the radio or on streaming services and we're always looking for the "next best thing" that we forget that at the time that's exactly what the Beatles were! The way they structured their songs and lyrics became a sort of stencil and inspiration for all artists! Pretty much every musician I know has been influenced by the Beatles in some shape or form. They will always be legends in the music industry.
As a producer you should really check them out. see the thing is up until that point music was recorded live basically. Independent tracks were not laid down then mixed together. A majority of recording techniques today are a result of the Beatles going into the studio and making things up as they went. I saw a great documentary on it on public television years back on the 50th anniversary of the release of Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club. I never realized how much they really changed music.
The album Meddle was before this and you can hear the begins of Dark Side of the Moon in that album; but its woven in with some songs that have a more traditional structure. After Dark Side of the Moon came Whish You Were Here and many Floyd fans like it the best; it's even better than The Wall which was very popular and the band's final great album. Meddle >.Dark Side of the Moon > Wish You Were Here > Animals and The Wall are an awesome series of albums, If I had to recommend one it would be Wish You Were Here
Queen stopped tour on 1986. So innuendo couldn’t be performed live. Only some bands have tried to do that… 😮 If you want to see the ours… let’s click this link from the minute 17… ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XK10jaWh3-Q.htmlsi=vfeCgWcqqj4lCKwI Congratulations for your videos … love them Regards from Spain
Hello from Brighton, England. You just don’t get it, organised religion is alllll part of the money game, possibly the basis of it? and yes, it’s all live. And I believe. Much respect.🙏🏼
2018,, that was when JHope was 24, Jimin 23 and JK 21. They each solo the intro for 20 seconds and captured the hearts and souls of thousands and millions. Jimin was awarded for national merit in Korean culture for his fan dance.
Nothing like a no-name self proclaimed “music producer” calling Noah Kahan basic and doesn’t know how to feel about him. 😂 You should find a new career buddy.
If you haven't already listened to it Social Path (it's totally different to their usual sound) was written about Chan's experience as a trainee. It's beautiful and hopeful and badass!
He says, "Man, that was a neat song." And then The Great Gig in the Sky comes on. :) "This is fun to listen to." It's called creative music. Enjoy. :) Who makes the creative decisions? The band members do. They listen to the producer and work with the engineers, but it's the band's music. That's how it used to be done.
“ The technology back then was so limited “. Yeah.. no s#!t. Didn’t need it. Really talented musicians, songwriters, producers and engineers. We could see it happen again but I doubt it since we now have so much technology to do everything for us.
I'll stop the hatin. Thanks for listening to and enjoying this. And yes... Live was next level. Greatest concert (in quadrophonic mind you) I ever experienced.
The best Queen song right behind "Bohemian Rhapsody". And I'd say "Innuendo" is even better, it's basically a prog rock song. The rest of their catalogue doesn't match this level of greatness at all. Queen was more a "singles" worthy band at best. They never achieved a solid discography like The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, King Crimson and Joy Division did.
Do yourself a favor, find and watch the Pulse concert by Pink Floyd. You see and here them perform this album live. The Pulse concert contains one of the greatest guitar solos in rock music.
