A Swiss car channel with original and refreshing car content. Not your average automotive stuff, but a new approach to reviewing and reporting on cars. I do the things I love and I do it my way. Based in Switzerland but present throughout Europe.
After 2010 its over for cars. And no I am not old fashioned. Its just facts. New cars feel like a brand new vaccum cleaner rather than a solid kick ass car machinery
Great video Misha. I had a similar dilemma with my 997 turbo. Thought I might change the wheels and add Bluetooth. Have now removed the Bluetooth as it stuffed up the audio and will leave the wheels alone. Could you also post on “X” as there is a massive audience there for you. Keep up the good work.
I actually just bought a 2021 M5 Competition. It already lost half of its retail value and the depreciation won‘t continue at that pace, especially if more and more people are going to realize that the new M5 is a heavy piece of s…. and simply not better than the F90. So for me it was the best time to buy instead of sell this specific car 😅
Agree with you! This M5 was never really a long time keeper for me, always thought that I would sell to one day, and had to make a call now as next selling window would be in a few years. As it’s a real daily drive for me also all the running costs are hurting, so was the moment for a change
It may not be brand new, but I think it looks better than the new 5 Series. And personally, I don't care about depreciation. If I love the car enough I'll keep it forever, so long that it will have fully depreciated by the time I decide to sell, and by then, perhaps it may even start to appreciate in value because they have just become so rare. Why change cars every few years, instead of keeping what you have for 15-20 years, or more?
Relationships and kinships and ownerships aren't what they used to be, my friend. Overload of choices and options, world moving too fast, new things come out too quickly and social media and marketing are also vey manipulative. True bonding with belonings and gratefulness aren't there anymore. Our brains are dull from mindless consumerism. People change their stuff and personality like people from our kind change our underwear.
For sure man! That’s how I rolls with my 964 Porsche, never selling it. But the M5 was never a car that I thought is worth keeping that that long. Something I would do with a 1M 😜
Good question! Both do fall under the same budget after taking hard depreciation. But in the same time 2 very different cars. I did also look into the f type as m5 replacement. If you never need the rear seats and have a jag dealership nearby, could be a very cool option.
Misha, came across this a few weeks ago and keep coming back to watch! Love the music and the photography (cinematography?1?) along with the review of the GT3. Porsche owner since 2020 and love to see others driving their sports cars on the road and enjoying them instead of sitting in a garage collecting dust as a trophy, no one is ever going to say "man I wish I hadn't driven my Porsche so much." Congrats on the GT3, my future desire! Look forward to seeing more videos. Couldn't agree more on putting winter tires and driving a Porsche in the snow. Take mine to the slopes and through snow and ice every winter, don't want a hangar queen. Great shots with the snow and dirt on the GT3, the way it should be!
Interesting, thanks. You shall check up your rear spoiler mecanism / module, because in any of the images you shot, i saw it expanded which is quiet surprising as it shall expand over 80Km/h. best
Great video. I'm glad you kept it original. I love all original cars because it represents an era of how cars were. Re the rear wiper, if you're absolutely sure you won't be driving in rain or snow, then remove it. If it's me, I keep it on. Once the rain comes, it always comes in handy.
Keep the wiper. I drive a 987 Black Edition. Wanted to change some stuff but ultimately decided against it. The car is not yours, you’re just holding onto it for the foreseeable future. You buy into classic cars, you also buy into responsibility.
Your video is nice, but something very important is missing … you had some issues to start the charging at the station in Italy. A guy in the video gave you a card … but which on? A lot of times especially this is the problem that the station does not work with a normal credit card. How did you pay the charges on your trip or n this different countries?
I had a 964 from 2012-2016. Drove it 30k miles. It was amazing. Sold it for double what I bought it for before having our first kid...but I still regret it. I miss it every day.
The drivers appears to be sitting quite low in relation to the steering wheel rim. Maybe the driving position is similar to Honda Civic sitting on the floor feeling.
