This video has been uploaded for 4 years and only has 10 thumbs up with the last one being mine. I have read the book of the title of the video by Christopher Lasch and like the rest of his books that I have read this one is amazing in its writing and explains a lot about the current situation both at the level of society and its norm as well as that of modern politics.
As one of Sweden's most outstanding film directors, Roy Andersson has become the focus of the Swedish film industry with his unique visual style. Completely different from the traditional modern film creation method, he chooses absurd and unorthodox camera techniques to reveal the spiritual confusion and existential contradictions of modern people through visual and intuitive presentation.
Exactly how i feel right now with having OCD and germ phobia , wash my hands 50 times a day BUT still getting noravirus and sh!tting from both ends the last 24hrs 😢
Though I think she is a lousy actress in "Grace And Frankie" I appreciate how she shows in which ways women try to conceal their age by using make up and wigs etc. It is a disgrace that people about the age of 60 and older are misrepresented on camera. She contributed to these people to be shown and seen.
everyone has rules, principles beliefs they live under, code of conduct... for example, some thing there's no point to life so they spend their whole day doing nothing
Activists always love the camera. That way, it looks as though they are doing something. Yeah they're doing something alright. Figuring out ways to steal from a charity or cause.
Regarding his promotion of regulations… the line from “The Big Short” comes to mind. “They’re not confessing… they’re bragging.” He doesn’t give a damn about more regulations because they won’t effect him negatively, and probably would effect him positively. It’s like how Warren Buffet insists that the wealthy pay their fair share of income taxes (what a moral guy!!!! Right?) … except he leaves out the part that the vast majority of his wealth is capital gains, not earned income (ohhh… wait a second).
5:27 Hillary and Soros, a match made in Hell. “Helping your hospital”… probably translates into funding medical experiments for personal and elitist gains.
Questo docufilm è un capolavoro immortale. E noi, TUTTI NOI presenti in quegli anni.. Abbiamo permesso che accadesse l'irreparabile. Dobbiamo chiederci come abbiamo fatto a lasciare che succedesse, e non ripetere mai più l'errore.
55:20 Jane becomes an activist at age 32, becoming involved w African Americans, Vietnam, and Native Americans. What an outspoken, courageous, forceful, and much needed woman. She was the #1 female role model for all of us growing up in the 80s. She won’t be quiet and won’t sit down.
