This is an OLD recipe. These were made by both of our grandmothers. It is a meal in itself. The taste is amazing. The savory/sweet combination is amazing. Old timers call them calico beans or cowboy beans. Many a church function has been graced with grandmother’s recipe. Cut back on the sugar if you want, but we’ll continue this dish as is. Thousands of folks have had this dish in our catering business, and we’ve yet to have a negative comment. 😎

It was already in there LoL. The bt is already on it. I'm gonna try putting the lettuce 🥬 on top. Maybe some drizzled Mayo or ranch dressing. Too cool you guys are on RU-vid! Can't believe I found you. I watched you guys forever on PBS!
