Oh this is really really good!!!! The mix is great and the vocal layering/harmonics sound great!!!! It's cool to hear other people doing metal with eleanor cause she does scream very well!
you certainly have Jeff's fingers! if you're up for a challenge do you think you can pull off Die? that song has a solo which not only requires the intense speed of Jeff but a 24 fret guitar for the F bend on the 23rd fret, luckily your 24 fret Ibanez can handle it! oh and it's drop D if you want there are other songs you could try like Bmblb (you use up to your 23rd fret and most likely beyond) let's just live (it's also in drop D and requires your 24th fret for the F# bend right near the end) When It Falls (yet again in Drop D and requiring a bend on the 23rd fret) I May Fall (more drop D tuning! but beware of the 22nd fret bend) It's My Turn (yes it's drop D again! but luckily no bends beyond the 22nd fret) and finally Armed And Ready (this is in E flat standard and goes beyond the 22nd fret) anyhow nice work, your cover was amazing, wish you luck if you wanna do future covers!
Lemmie say i freaking love to play jeff williams's songs but some of his solos are nearly impossible, this is just one of them i can do I Burn despite it being so hard it nearly gives me burns, i'm learning the This Will Be The Day solo and i'm just beginning to learn the intro solo in the full version of Red Like Roses II if i can i'll try do Not Fall In Love With You but i must admit this cover was exceptional, keep up your good work
Jeff started off as a jazz musician. I can't say I'm surprised that his solos are almost fucking impossible. Jazz is probably the hardest guitar style to play.
@Who Cares case and point is his solo in Armed And Ready cos he goes full Guthrie Govan and speed taps in the solo like crazy despite the song being more along the lines of an Yngwie J Malmsteen song! and i must say Jeff loves his wah more than Kirk Hammett of Metallica cos most of his solos use wah but some don't, perhaps the most stand out wah solo he did is either Boop or I Burn, cos in Boop he goes full Steve Vai - The Audience Is Listening and uses it to an extent
