Hey, I’m Tony. Thanks for checking out Yacht Addiction on RU-vid! If you love yachts, this is the place for you! New yacht tours go live every Wednesday at 3:30 PM EST!
I don’t work in the yacht industry and I don’t have a boating background. I’m just a guy that’s obsessed with yachts. Join me on this journey as I explore all types of boats. Cruisers, trawlers, superyachts, sport fishing, and sailboats.. I want to tour them all!
I'm generally not impressed with Italian yachts. They seem to go for the superficial appearances (style?) and forget the practicality. At 6:20, the piano/keyboard is essentially taking up wasted space. Most people won't have one and then it's just empty. Creating storage would have been more useful. What really gets me is that the sliding door and the drop down balcony _are not centered_ with each other. You can tell they are probably 6-12" inches off. 🤦♂ That galley feels really tight, as well as the crew quarters. I understand asymmetrical layouts, I'm just not a fan. Also, get a hair cut. 😉😁 I don't want to just be all negative and want to end on a positive note, so I will say thank you for bringing us another video. We've got you and Nick at the Cannes Yacht Festival and Esysman at Monaco. This could be a great few weeks incoming! Take care.
I was thinking about mowing when the lawn dries. About the ship though; It's nice. The decor is comfortable looking. Not all flash where you're afraid to touch anywhere for marks, or breaking stuff. A family could enjoy it for weeks. I do Not like the raked windows in the master. A sliver of view, or skylights. Choose 1. Pay for 3 foot tall glass, I expect full use.
Tony, definitely not a yacht for charter. That would take a particular owner that would be willing to hang out with the crew and all. You're definitely cannot do service for 10 at 3 meals a day with that galley plus crew.
5:38 !!! YES!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU ARE WEARING BLACK SOCKS I THINK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOOD FOR YOU. NOW YOUR FOOT SWEAT DOESN'T GET ALL OVER A MULTI MILLION DOLLAR YACHT.
Whoa! WHAT A beautiful and cool look! 😎 👑 ⛵ ⚓ edit... at 4 min and 15 sec I'm already saying She's Gorgeous, She's Perfect! I love the full use of deck spaces and incognito toys and tools! PERFECT 👌 🎉⛵
All down to taste I suppose but there are for me so much to dislike about that yacht. Rake of front pilot house window was my least liked. Interior design/styling is awful to my liking. Well presented Tony and thank you for sharing.
Tony came back and looks swole! Maybe it's the beard! Maybe it's the lights he finally got in his house! (Old joke for long time vìewers ). I do like Sanlorenzo as a guest, but like I've said before, they aren't great for crew. But if you are new in yachting ,wonderful yachts to get your start on. Not too big, and you have some pretty robust systems aboard. Easy to replace too if something messes up. Not everything is completely bespoke. Very simple layouts and usually charters very well.
Tony, you never went to the windows below deck. I kept waiting and expecting you to say something about them and then give them the once-over. They were huge and the entire frame appeared available to be opened. I was very impressed.
Hey Tony, your facial hair looks good on you. Good seeing you on screen. This Sanlorenzo is a beautiful yacht inside and out. It's also is a nice cozy place to be out on the water. You really got a workout going up and down stairs on this yacht. Thanks for the excellent tour of this beautiful yacht.
this yacht is very disappointing, I mean, where's the kitchen, I'm guessing the owners will cook for themselves in the passage way, with barely any counter space for prep. It seems to be a common theme with this builder. This builder does not impress at all. But good job on the tour.
at 11.47, sounds like we have clients coming on board Tony you have just stated and we have witnessed a multi million dollar piece of kit that squeaks i do not want to condemn you or anyone else, but after witnessing with my own ears along with your comments San Lorenzo are no longer an option for me to make my purchase next year to pay millions and have squeaking not happening
Sanlorenzo is literally the apex builder, no one is doing it like them... and this isn't even closest to the nicest boat they've put out and it's still gorgeous.
Alright Tony hope you're well, rocking the new look dude, right on ✌️ between Yacht Addiction and Aquaholic I can honestly say I don't think I've ever seen a Sanlorenzo that I don't like, loving the asymmetric design of this one being able to get all around the yacht and having access to the decks with an owners cabin on the main deck. All around a stunning yacht with great speed and range for it's size. Top find and tour as ever sir, all the best from Cornwall 🤗👍🖖
@@YachtAddiction I always say when it comes to high end yachts and cars Italians don't do a bad job in design and performance, thanks again Tony cheers.
oh i am extremely depressed, summer here was almost non-existent, mostly rain, and temperature in the 50s in July, and August some days, very, very cold summer... last one only had a few days of rain... leaves are already falling, light is going away, i am not doing well at all... waiting on response from government to get moving south of the 49th... life is just horrible for me here, this year especially...
Absolutely beautiful yatch for its age. What a layout, would love for it to be sitting in my mariner berth. Also a tick in the box for the presentation video.
It's pretty amazing what you can get for 5 million. I mean, a nice Pusher RV is 1.2- 1.5million and 10 times less luxurious than that. I Wonder what was the build price. And yes, i know, it probably costs half to 3/4 million a year just to run that thing, but still.
Like you Tony, I too am impressed with this Ocean Alexander superyacht. You always give your viewers an excellent tour pointing out stunning features of the yacht you're presenting to us. Thanks so much.
