There's a show on MGM+ called FROM. The Bottle Trees in the show hold significance and the series fans are trying to figure out what that is. Thanks for telling us how different communities in America use the bottle tree. In the show, there is one bottle tree with random years written on paper, stuffed in each bottle. Each tree has a hole, large enough for an adult to fit through, and if you step into the bottle tree it takes them to different random places.

34 years later and still relevant. Learned some new things. I have had limited success with "short-day" onions which is what I read was needed for OK. Ray said long-day and intermediate day onions work better. I will give those a try.

Now as winter approaching I cut a long stem under nodes and put in milk bottle and 4 days its rooted well. Wash cuttings once you bring them in then put in bottle. its growing inside wall bottle so nicely.
