Am Wissenschaftszentrum für Sozialforschung in Berlin tut sich viel: durch Vorträge und Diskussionen, auf wissenschaftlichen Fachkonferenzen und in Workshops. Viel zu viel, um immer überall dabei zu sein. Deswegen finden sich hier die Mitschnitte vieler unserer Veranstaltungen. Die Themen sind so vielfältig wie unsere Forschungsfragen. Sie handeln von Ungleichheit, dem Wandel politischer Systeme, Bildung und Arbeit, Migration und Integration, internationaler Politik und vielem mehr.
In zwei Filmreihen ("Meine Forschung in 3 Minuten", "Meine Forschung im Kontext") berichten Forscherinnen und Forscher von ihrer Arbeit und den gewonnenen Erkenntnissen. Die Reihe "WZB Zeitzeugen" blickt auf die Geschichte des WZB.
Thanks for the very educational video. The discussion about the activities of knowing is getting more interesting today, with the emerging of chat bot like chat gpt. once younger generations get used to write or even think with the aid of cht bots, it might be no going back to induvidual associative thinking back in mind. The fomulate of ideas will be influenced by algorithms or the data that was used to built the bot.

Ich finde den Vergleich mit den Minderheiten (z. B. indigenen Völkern) nicht unbedingt passend, denn diese Völker sind real bedroht und wurden historisch betrachtet diskriminiert und teilweise ausgerottet, im Gegensatz zu Deutschland. Natürlich ist in diesen Völkern der Wille die Kultur zu erhalten real "angemessener". Meist geht es auch nicht nur um Traditionen, sondern um den puren Erhalt der Lebensgrundlagen (engere Verbindung mit der Kultur, Kampf um Klimaschutz und Artenvielfalt etc.) In einem Land, in dem die eigene Kultur (wie in Deutschland) natürlich nicht bedroht ist, sondern nur anderen Kulturen hinzukommen, sollten Menschen in der Lage sein, weniger kleinlich und ängstlich zu reagieren.
Ich habt doch alle einen an der Klatsche, ich wünsche euch das ihr mal einen Krankenwagen braucht und dann drei Stunden aufs Lastenrad warten müsst. Dann braucht ihr hoffentlich nur noch einen Leichenwagen
