My father was there in February 1945. From the archive photos I have seen it was a very different picture back then. He spent several weeks in slit trenches in the surrounding woods in what was one of the bleakest winters for a while. He lost pieces of his ears to frostbite as he didn’t wear a balaclava like a lot of his comrades for fear of not hearing something. I visited 20 years ago and there was a wedding taking place. Don’t forget to visit the Commonwealth War Graves particularly the Reichswald cemetery just to keep you grounded and understand the price of the freedoms we enjoy.
Hey, great work! Bit of a suggestion, if you don't mind, keep your back as straight as you can while you move into the bend. You want to pull your butt towards your ankles to really active those thigh muscles. I personally like to use weight for my squats as well, preferably a 20+ lbs slam ball. The weight will really increase the intensity of your work out and even activate the core. Take your time when doing your work outs. The slower you go, the more you create resistance and that resistance is what will in turn give you strength, tone and definition ❤ 50 slow weighted squats will benefit you just as much, if not more, than doing 100 regular ones 🥰🙏 Keep up the great work! ❤
