yeh not much blue around this winter and too many flies makes for hard going. Usually if there is rain forecast I go to nearest town with a pub like cue, magnet, Sandstone, Leonora and Laverton. I get all crazy locked up in the tent for a few days lol. Still ......better here in the WA goldfields than the rainy east coast .

@@goldaus Only 59 grams 🤣! I picked up and looked closely at a silver coin with some selective gold plating ( looks nice). It was the second Australian silver coin to receive this technology in 2002 and it was called the Adelaide Pound and weighed 60 grams and I thought when I held it in my hand that if it were gold that would be massive SO ...... 59grams, good fortune to you my friend! You had to work for it! Well done. By the way, when you pulled out the 70g specie you pulled up another rock with it and chucked it to the right without taking a peep at it. Just a thought. You know what else I'm thinking about. The level under the surface that you found it sometimes is the same depth as many other specimens. Just a thought! Love reading the comments that suggest this a fake find! They obviously have no idea at all about detecting gold in Australia! 100% genuine, and no, I don't know the poster of this clip, but I do find gold with a detector, just like this.
