A 3 step paint correction is when you polish the paint work with three different grades of polish and polishing pads. You begin with a coarser polish slowly refining the finish to remove paint defects such as fading, scratches and environmental damage.
Hi mate how much did the rear screen cost? Do you have a link to order a replacement? I have a w140 s600 in the same colour and wheels as yours . Im also working on bits to bring it upto a mint standard. Your car is super mint and can’t wait to get mine to a similar condition. 😊
I’ve really enjoyed your videos. I have owned 2 CL500’s. The second one was a 2004 but apart from the age difference the spec was the same as yours. In my opinion the best combination. The wheels, body colour, trim & wood steering wheel were exactly the same as yours.I loved that car and regret selling it, although it was starting to cost me a lot of money. Seeing yours has tempted me to look for another. Keep up the good work
Hi, I’m looking to buy a W124 as a daily driver, yours now looks like a new car as your making a very good job of it. Liking all your vids, keep them coming.
Hi, to begin with you need a dual action polisher and I would recommend Meguiars Microfibre polishing pads which they make a specific polish for that works well with Mercedes paint.
I recently purchased a 97 w202 as my first car, and I'd like to do a paint correction myself. Any advice on paint correction as well as fixing chips and dents?
Hi, I was able to get one wing from Mercedes Benz but the other was from eBay as it wasn’t available. Then I had them sprayed before fitting. The wing off of eBay is a good fit apart from where the indicator slots in which I need to see if I can improve. Regards Sam
